Es ist ja Bald so weit - dass Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 - wird bei den Händlern ankommen.
Also wird es auch schon Zeit für die ersten Bilder, Daten und Fakten.

In ca. 3 Wochen wird das Board für einen Preis von ca. 220 Euro im Handel zu haben sein.

UPDATE: Das Board ist mittlerweile für einen Preis von rund 200 Euro bei Geizhals erhältlich

- Bei großen Karten wie GTX oder HD 29 muss der Speicher vorher eingebaut 
werden, danach ist nur noch der ausbau möglich
- Es ist kein Problem den Scythe Infinity bzw. Mugen zu verwenden.
- für alle die es interessiert. Ich habe mal die Soundkarte testhalber auf den ersten PCI Slot gesteckt und dabei rausgefunden, das dieser Steckplatz seinen IRQ nicht shared. Also daher der Tipp an alle: wenn ihr wichtige Karten habt, nutzt sie im erstn PCI Slot (also direkt unter dem zweiten PCIe x16 Steckplatz), unter Umständen könnte euch das Ärger ersparen, denn der untere PCI Slot shared den IRQ mit anderen Geräten. Also das mit dem Bios kannste vergessen nach dem Flashen nur schwarzes bild (Kein signal) und 1 Piiiep nichts weiter nu stehe ich vor einem Problem, cmos reset bringt nix ausser das er 2 mal Piept mit Pause, und auto recover springt auch net an bzw ich sehe ja nicht ob er was versucht.


vieleicht hat ja Jz ne Idee :(

Falls es noch nicht hinhaut?! Beim x48dq5 wurde mal ein defektes Bios von Gigabyte in Umlauf bebracht, da half glaub ich nur noch die Garanie in anpruch zu nehmen und einschicken. Vielleicht kann auch ein Händler helfen, Bios-Bausteine Tauschen?!
 
Nee Bausteine tauschen kannste net, sind eingelötet wenn ich das richtig sehe, also kann mann schon wenn mann kann, aber ich kanns net ;)
Habe mir auch erst mal ein DFI X48-T2R zugelegt warte jetzt nur noch auf das neue Gehäuse für das Brett (corsair obsidian) gab ja Weihnachtsgeld :drool: .
 
Wo habt ihr dieses "F9I" Bios her?

Auf der Gigabyte hp finde ich lediglich die Bios Versionen F1 - F4b.
Letztere ist noch nichtmal ein Jahr alt. Ist die neurer als die F9I ?

CPU-Z zeigt mir Bios-Version "F8" an. Datum entspricht der F2-Version auf der Gigabyte homepage.

Dann holen wir mal diesen Tread heraus.

Habe da mal eine Frage. Ich habe dieses Board und jetzt eine 5970 Grafik Karte. Meine Frage jetzt. Das Board hat ja einen Extra Stromanschluss für Grafik Karte. Muss ich diesen mit Strom versorgen oder erst wenn ich eine 2 Grafik Karte nutze? Danke
 
Hat irgendjemand für mich ein paar Vergleichsverte für die Temperaturen, ich habe jetzt meine Wasserkühlung eingebaut, und bei der Gelegenheit an die North- und Southbridge und die Spawas ein paar Temperatursensoren gelegt und bin schockiert, noch nicht übertaktet, immer noch mit undervoltetem Prozessor haben die Teile Temperaturen von 59° bis 61°, d.h. die Bauteile sind vermutlich noch wärmer wenn die Kühler um die 60° haben, ist das normal?
Ausleseprogramme wie Openhardwaremonitor zeigen 39° an, als Systemtemperatur, das Board im BIOS auch :confused:

Edit: Was so ein Lüfter alles bringt, jetzt sind die Temperaturen zwischen 35° und 38°, jetzt muss ich nur noch schaun wie ich den ordentlich befestige...

Mal wieder rauskramen den Thread.

Weis jemand ob auf dem Board DDR 3 Speicher laufen,
so wie auf der ersten Seite beschrieben ist.
Oder hat sogar einer welche am laufen,
denn bei Gigabyte auf der Seite finde ich nichts darüber.

Das X38T-DQ6 unterstützt glaub ich DDR3, das "normale" X38-DQ6 soweit ich weiß nicht.

Achja, ich hab das Bios F9K drauf, soweit alles gut geklappt...
 
Was glaub irgendwas mit Sandforce-SSDs (hab des Update zusammen mit dem SSD Update meiner Vertex 2 LE geladen, davor hat alles funktioniert - danach auch :))
 
Hi, ich hab eine Frage bezüglich der Temperaturen.
Habe meinen q9650 übertaktet und dieser läuft unter last mit 55grad, also damit bin ich ganz zufrieden.
Aber beim Mainboard bin ich unsicher, Hardwaremonitor gibt 33grad unter "System" an, aber ein angelegter Fühler sagt 62grad.
Ich hatte schon gegoogelt und dazu unterschiedliche Angaben gefunden, konnte jedoch rauslesen, dass die x38 Chipsätze grundsätzlich mit hohen Temperaturen arbeiten und eine Tmax von 92grad haben.
Möchte aber lieber sicher gehen und nochmal selber nachfragen, bzw auch fragen, ob den eine 24/7 Betrieb mit diesen 62grad in ordnung ist. Diese 62grad beziehen sich auch auf Idle.
Ich habe beim übertakten nichts an der mch oder FSB Spannung geändert, beeinflusst die Core-Voltage jedoch vielleicht die Temperatur?
