Yes, that slot. I think I made a mistake, I rechecked wikipedia and true half size pci-e is almost 29mm... the one I was talking about is a pseudo measure (non-standard, about 51mm) for ssd ... basically for the EEEPC. I'll try to locate some ssd that can fit there, I'm still not giving up :)...

Brokk, the products for which I put the links are 50mm mini pci-e standard (half height mini pci-e). From the physical size point of view I think they'll fit fine (same size as robson [turbo memory] modules). I am however wondering about the logical connection. I know there is mode than 1 SATA...
