As for slow boot I have z690 Strix d4 and it was the Asus Audio driving causing slow boots. If I use default Windows drivers it boots much quicker. I dont need the Asus Audio software so I unistall it for quicker boots.

Look at the date the one 0088 on HWbot was posted it is from November. You can also see bios date before flashing in bios when using EZ Flash. bianbo works for Asus.

There doesnt seem to be a best bios if it has a bug. I would use EZ flash and go back to 703 and then flash another newer one like 811 or 901 or 0088 again. I have had to do this on z690 Strix d4. It would SP bug and thats how I fixed it.

Flash to a different bios or 2. Easy to try and nothing to lose except some time.

What bios are you on. Those E core SP looked like bugged, some bioses do that. I have seen this from others I know and flashing to another bios fixed it. KS E cores should be 85-90 plus.

Deciding factor will be did they do A die optimization for bios. Without that A die are very picky. Even on z690 Apex before the optimized bios for A die it was a nightmare to get stable.

My z690 Strix d4 is picky about timings in gear 1. Manually setting all sub timings helps. On SR and DR b die it helps if I manually set tCWL lower than tCL. Do not rely on auto timings. Without setting sub timings I could only boot 3200 or 3600 in gear 1. After setting all timings I can run...
