Much worse performance on 2x8 ddr5 vs the 2x16 kits. I haven't tested it but seen it the comparison and the difference is large. May as well go ddr4 if doing 2x8 ddr5. I would look into it further before spending more money for ddr5 MB and only going with 2x8.

MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI EVGA 3080 nur mit Riser Kabel möglich??

It looks like it would fit to me. I have to tilt my card to get it in but it works. It is like a puzzle to get it in with the CPU block mounted. I have a couple setup using Arctic 420 with 3080 ti The other option if remove CPU block and put in GPU and then remount CPU block.

Interesting. I have both gskill 6400c32 and Kingston 6000c40 and for me the Kingston run cooler when using both with stock heatspeader. Also kingston can run tighter timings with less voltage. Kingston 7000c32 vs Gskill 7000c32. Kingston were half the price of gskill. I would buy Kingston...

The Kingston 6000c40 has been one of the lower Hynix kits so I picked up a set for $217 USD directly from Kingston. So far cant get them 7000c32 Karhu stable like Gskill 6400c32 can but for the price I am satisfied. 6933c32 Karhu and y cruncher 7400c32GB3 2022 Apex bios 1503 u code 15...

    Intel Sockel 1700 - Alder Lake-S Verfügbarkeit/Laberthread + Z690 Boards + DDR5 RAM

Cooler score will not effect SP. But it will chnage how much voltage the MB gives if using auto voltages. From what i know a SP of 86 is good for a 12700k. I would say if you can run 50 all core on 12700k you are doing good. 51 really good and more than that lotto. I have seen some on 12900k...

I just increased vddq as otherwise it wont boot for me. If it boots and is stable for you at default or a lower voltage use that. I just know from testing I need around 1.35v for DR b die in the 4000+ range. You can probably get by with less at say 3800. You will have to test it.

You might not need to set vddq @3600 but if you do it is at the bottom of AI Teaker page below SA and other voltage settings.

I just tried it on Strix d4 and it is a little better for DR b die if running gear 1 at 4000 to 4266. 1304 only went to 4133c15 for me where 901 I could run 4266c15. 1404 I can only get 4266c16 running so far with DR b die in gear 1. I havent compared performance in benches vs 1304, 1304 was...

It depends how you have other settings in bios. If using sync all core cache will stay at 36 if left on auto. Set p states to enabled will allow cache to clock up or use Per core OC will also let cache clock up.

That last bench in post 162 is with 12900ks. I just set clocks the same as to compare # to my old ones.. That is why I can not run 4266 new KS bios wont let it run so had to lower to 4133. 12900ks will run 4266 on older bios but ecore will only run at 3400.

On Apex 1304 is good for me. I am talking only about Strix d4 with regards to bios 901 and the newer bios versions. 1648549377 If you are just running 3600xmp then I think the newer bioses will be fine. It is when OC memory with DR that newer bios versions are not as good. Around 4000 is when...
