Yes, that little board is the GOAT, but I have 4 NVME SSD's, so it's a no go for me. Saw Tachyon X on a pretty good price, it's around 600 Euros (with VAT) at some shops. The only thing I don't like it's the E-ATX factor. Are the Skews exposed in their BIOS? I had Z690 Ultra, but I don't...

I don't know if it would help. I tried with manual RON's (with the 48/40-40/48) and with auto. No difference. The error is instant in Y, like when you have not enough SA or VDD2. I was thinking, if my board would be damaged, I would buy a Tachyon X to challenge a little. :D

I loaded the Intel default profile too. SFT worked like charm. And also, 8200 worked like charm, even on C34. :) (maybe that was the problem, haha :d )

Yes, even if you put the same cpu back it will retrain everything according to the seating in the socket. I will try the KS again tomorrow morning. But I am afraid it won't come back. Actually CPU part had no issue, it worked like charm on the same Vcore as before. Things like this happen when...

I don't think it's the board, since the KF was able to do 8800 in the slot where the KS could only 8200. I've tried everything, CMOS reset, remove battery, BIOS reflash, BIOS switch, reseating, differenct CPU block, different dimms. Only the different CPU helped. So I can say it can only be the...

I am struggling with something else. When I flooded my top slot I was able to revive it, but seems like it degraded my memory channel somehow, maybe some short circuit or something. Tried to clean slots, reseat the CPU etc, but my top slot could run only on 8200 max, for the bottom one 8600...

There is the little Asrock Z790i Lightning. For next gen I will buy Asrock board I believe. I loved my X370 Taichi and now it seems they woke up from the 3 years of sleeping. :)

Now cleaned the dimm slots again and seems better. Got always error 2 in TM5, seems like it's a good test to find hardware seating issues too. Voltage stability was not good at the golden fingers. Y didn't run a cycle at all. Now it's running 30 minutes ago. Also made a patented anti bending...

I can't play the lottery, I buy the parts as a companny, can't just send it back if I don't like it. ☺️ It's not a bad CPU at all, max stable is 8533, same as my KF. I would buy prebinned CPU, but no one can give me invoice from that. 🤣

I will try that later. At friday I ran almost 3 hours of Y on 8400C36, then I rebooted and got error 53 Qcode. Couldn't even boot. So started to troubleshoot with the typical things. Tried different memories, reseated the CPU several times, CMOS battery removing, different dimm slots, BIOS...

I think I was walling with the Gskills. Now I am not even close to that, but working on it. :) I will order the Der8auer block, hope the MC will be more consistent with that. Maybe my Encore is the wall. Not sure about that. I can try it later. Now it's 1600, but with the beefy ccooling I can...

I flooded everything, even the dimm.2 slot too. That made the boot hang on 00 for some seconds.. it's removed now, should dry out a little. Gskill works too just this was easier for slot testing without water block. 8400 was never happened on this particular Teamgroup kit. But I am still looking...

Today I teared the O ring on the Supercool block and flooded the RAM slots with ccolant. :d (wanted to reapply the LM and play with the tightening a little bit.) My PC decided to not turn onn with RAM in DIMM A, so I cleaned the slots, and the CPU socket and installed my good old Iceman block...

I know, but I don't dare to lap the die. I could kill it easily. Some guys did it on OCN. Very interesting, Der8auer recommends LM instead of cryosheet, because that killed the memory OC. MX4 makes it really worse, I mean the temps, it's too "slow". Maybe PTM would worth a try. I tried with the...

I will try it. Now it's HT off with 60x on Pcores. SFT passed actually. I believe I have mounting issues, still. I will order the Der8auer DD block, maybe it will be better. Haha, could be an issue. 🤣

Hello, Sorry, I am here, just I have nothing to show up atm. I am busy too with family things and many things in the garden as well. :) I am stuck here now: Heat shouldn't be an issue, I believe need to play with SA a little bit.

Here you have it. Unfortunately I can't resize the window. The result is not that good, I have a lot of programs running right now. :)

2x24 kits have similar behaviour until one point. 8200C36 is similar, 8400C36 needs more voltage. At least my KLEVV kit could do 8400C36 from 1,45V. I know, I also barely post there. Boring. ☺️

Agreed. I saw Y on 8800 from 3 guys only. I believe only Jori3br used HT on during the test. 2X24 kit? That's interesting! Use my foundation for start.
