[Sammelthread] Intel DDR5 RAM OC Thread

Hello, I saw your previous posts. Good to see you here too. :) I have IA_AC set to 0.60 and working from there. SVID behaviour is set to trained. It is strange, for me 48-40-40-48 RON works the best so far with huge delta, maybe you saw the post about my latest profile. Maybe you should try...

The Vmin was the same on new BIOS, but something was messed. I tried hours to find what the hell happened but I couldn't stabilize the 8533 there. I will try it later too to find out what did they change, but atm I had to come back to 0081. It works like charm. Actually ME version is the same...

I guess I was unlucky. But 8266C34 was pretty fast. 😊

You can disable the channels, like I did. 1708447104 Believe me, I tried with 3 CPU, and 3 kit. The same can do 8600 in my Encore. That board was B-Ware from Alternate. Probably that's why.

First Rev Apex is not that good like the newer revisions. 1708443990 Did you try per channel test?

Are you sure it's not the board? My white APEX topped out on 8266. 8400 was TM5 stable, but Y had retraining issues. Couldn't even boot at 8533. :D

    Set it to trained.

I need 1.56V VDD for 8400C36, that's why I thought. VDD2 is somehow connected to SA, better to change them together. Did you try much lower SA? 1.12V for instance?

ASUS Octool. 1708401605 I used the beta one, but went back to 0081, because I can't find the stability yet. Will work on it later. I have no idea what they changed, bit on RAM side it's a mess. 1708401916 I believe the mem VDD won't be enough for C36. Need a little more. Try 1.52V/1.47V. VDD2...

I think I will do the same for the moment.

@Veii Good morning Seems like @Vhypur was right, redoing V/F could help on new BIOS. Still needs some adjustments, but at least I can run some cycles now. Also, redid V/F is not bad: (this is my best score so far)

Can't load it fully, timings cannot be loaded, so something changed there. I played with CPU VDDQ, and SA, but TBH didn't try to move mem VDDQ, that was always 1.47V. I will investigate it deeper. I don't think I will flash back,or change BIOS. It should work here too with slight improvements...

Trying to find out what happened with the new beta BIOS. Previous profile doesn't seem stable at all. TM5 passed, but Y is a different story.

I believe the beta updates both.

Good Morning New beta bios seems got some changes in the background, I totally lost the stability from my 8533 profile. I have to find out what happened and I will report back later.

Seriously, this is really good. Saw on their site, that they have some kind of material what you can apply in a thin layer and it will protect the nickel/copper from the gallium. Amazing!

It's not a biggie. It will eat every nickel, sooner or later you have to reapply it, no matter which DD block you have. It even absorbs itself to the ILM. :) You can apply LM on the Iceman block before mounting, wait a few days, clean it, reapply, clean it and install the block.:) That's why I...

That is true, but after reapplying it 2-3 times, it will be okay. Gallium "eats" itself into the block, but after several times, it's okay. I have installed the block about 3-4 months ago and the temps are still very good, but in the first times I had to reapply it several times. Also I like to...
