Looks promising. I was thinking to try PTM on the cores too. It's less problematic to use. Now I have TG under the Iceman block. Soon will replace it.

Hm, Many cheap could dry out very fast, in my opinion it worth the few bucks more to buy a widely tested one.

Never heard of this. Is it better than TG Conductonaut?

Good morning @Veii I have a little time to work further on the mem OC. Wanted to use the 8533 as a base for 8600 with the 48/40-40/48 RON config and the 1.24 V VDDQ_CPU base, but that is too low for this speed, can't even run a cycle in Y. So I raised the TX to 1.30V, it ran few cycles before...

Try this with Optimus (Optimus can be used as dd afaik): IceManCooler CPU Open Cover Protector For Intel 12/13/14th gen Processor,Delid Die Guard Frame,7075 Aluminum,Black

Yeah, looks like my VDDQ is written in stone right now. :D Didn't try this 1.18V SA base on 8600, maybe will worth a try.

So bad! :D I will start with TM5 again. Then I will use the current Voltages with a 8600 tming set.

Agreed. The work what we did to get this 8533 with manual RON tuning could be really important to go further. Maybe I should aim 8600 C36 where I can use high in-mem delta again. But first I need to find the TM5 stability for that. Last time I tried it was okay until 45-50 mins, so could be...

Could be the in mem delta. I tried the good old 1.52V/1.47V. Tried lowering the VDDQ_MEM too. Ran some cycles with the same bitrates like 8533, so it could be catchable, bit need some time to find out.

Once I killed a 13900K with TurboVcore. :) It had some issue with Hwinfo EC. Falkentyne said it's a bug when you apply a Voltage and Hwinfo opened it can mess up the Voltage settings. Set the Voltage, applied then I saw it jumped to a high number and the screen turned off. 00 and no more boot on...

Yes, it surprised me too. I will retest a few days later as a double check, but seems okay to me. On 8600 I will have much smaller in mem deLTA, but VDDQ delta probably remain the same.

Couldn't find this out without your help. I played a lot with the TX and started getting better and better as I lowered it under 1.27V. Then on 1.24V it was stable but slow, that's where I thought you told me about the bitrates and RON's. That made me think to try it again. It's 48-40-40-48...

Hello @Veii Progress: First I kept the 48-40 40-34 setting and tought maybe I should try some huge VDDQ delta. The bit rates were these: (slow and not constant) Tought maybe it's due to the stronger RON'S with weak MC Voltages. Then I changed the RON to 40-48 there. And the results here...

What if I force the 8600 CTL0 on this one? This profile is badass. Very fast, much faster than a 8600C38. Maybe I could even tighten the tRFC a little. Or maybe I can try the 8600 with these Voltages and timings. Huge in mem delta, I like it. 😊

I know, just wanted to pretest before TM5. Started the 90 min test too, hope it will pass. Then it would be 120 min total. (If pass) Update. Second test died in 40 minutes. I have no idea where to go further. :) @Veii Bitrates didn't even drop, not sure if it's the RON, or something else...

Thank you! This is so good write up, it's bookmarked.😊 Now running on 48-40 / 34-40, seems promising. I will post the results. Wanna run a TM5 too because I got freeze again at 47. Minutes. WIP: (bitrates are high and constant) For bonus I tightened the primaries a little and upped VDD_MEM...

That's why I thought to try a profile with lower mem speed. To find how it works on this particular config. So RON and VDDQ's could be constant through all speeds. I believe my best VDDQ pair is 1.32-1.35V for CPU and 1.47V for RAM. This gave me always the most stable result on each frequency...

@Veii Good Morning.:) I thought maybe I can make an experiment with a 8533C36 profile and the RON's on 48/48-48/48 what I used for 8600 profile. Decided to let the water heat up. Look at the bitrates how they are raised by the time. It errored at 19th iteration but it's still very interesting...
