    AFAIK the 1st is for Zen/Zen+ (Ryzen 1000/2000) and the 2nd is for Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000).

    It is a known incompatibility problem with 3rd party monitoring software like HWInfo, etc running. It have to be fixed by ASUS, not fixed in 5406 AFAIK.

    According to CPU-Z it does. This power plan have 99% as minimum state, so the frequency falls to 3.525GHz. The lowest frequency I had was 2.2GHz with minimum state set to 50% or lower.

    Have you installed AMD chipset driver? It contains "Ryzen balanced" powerplan, with it 3700X idles @1.0V and 35.25x multiplier.

    Hello everyone! Murazor, do you have any PCI-E card installed besides a graphics card? I have absolutely the same problem with arbitrary 5406 hangs on reboot or power on, I reverted back to 5220 and the hangs disappeared. I have X-Fi Titanium HD installed.
