    I've been using task manager details tab to set Y-cruncher to high priority, HWinfo to above normal priority, and then right before you start test in y-cruncher it generates an additional process in details tab of task manager (it starts with the number 4, so easy to find if you sort processes...

    @Darkthrone Full HWinfo, ASRock Timing Configurator & ASUS MemTweakit, and letting TM5 run until 3+ errors occur in screenshots would give more info so one can advise what to do.

    I saw no other path forward. Voltage tuning alone gave retrain inconsistency along with temperature sensitivity. Profiles would pass 60 min on y-cruncher and then instantly error in y-cruncher on subsequent retrains. Custom RTTs and RONs gave more consistency with retrains, but still variable...

    I've played with this voltage and it clearly does make a difference to the DDR5 environment, but it certainly hasn't been a miracle fix and I've since returned it to AUTO.

    They took away debug menu, too! Jerks! I asked safedisk for BIOS with debug menu, lol he linked me a test BIOS without debug menu. BeCareful24 told me I am completely shooting in the dark without it and now I yearn for it.

    Btw, @Veii , I stabilized 8400c34 with RxDfe disabled, albeit with fixed voltage. It was really, really difficult. Full RTTs/RONs, Read Equalization +14 & +7, all slopes still AUTO. Now I'm trying to get it stable with adaptive voltage.

    No metal; just manufactured diamond. The manufacturer advertised them for electronics heatsink applications. It has some visual artifacts/imperfections but is almost transparent.

    I can't imagine I removed even 100 microns yet. Maybe 50. Only a small area in the center of the die is missing the outer layer. Maybe 1 cm^2. There will be no additional conductive/inductive material. Only 13x25x0.3mm diamond heatsink (die is ~12mm x 23mm). Just Supercool direct die coldplate...

    Supposedly the manufacturer lapped the diamond before shipping. It will go under Supercool direct die coldplate, between die and coldplate. If I end up further lapping the die, I think 0.3mm shouldn't be an issue considering the material removed from the die. Also I may shim under ILM. Shim...
