Hey, I understand what you feel, at least I don't really see the famous German warm welcome here...strange. We could learn from each other. Just come back to OCN and we can continue the work. At least I will post my results there, which is based on the knowledge I got from you. This is fun...

For me the flat top never worked for 2-3 core boost on higher ratio. I installed my Xtreems back and you know what? They are working nice with my KF. Single error 1 yet on the beginning. The sticks are naked now on air.

I know that's why I was surprised. Tried it with 50 too, doesn't help. Going higher wouldn't worth it in speed. Maybe need some other changes as well. Now tightened the 8400 further. TWR, tWTR, seems it works too. This IMC feels itself best on 8400. 8533 is doable as it was before, but 8600...

Why that much Vcore on 5500?

Working on it right now, haha. On C34, if it can handle it. I will put back my Xtreems and check it with those too. I tried that kit only with the KS. It shows the package temp actually which is much lower. Edit 8533C34 wants too much Voltage, it doesn't worth it to go above 1.70V VDD.

It just jumps to 01, maybe it is because it measures 101C on CPU for some reason. The new setting failed:

Maybe with the new P122 CPU of I get it. It is MC SP 91 and 1,488V Vid at 62X. Do you have any idea for my Qled issue?

Will do it soon. Tried my configuration after retraining. Now set ICCMAX to 400A and VRMAX to 1600. Even with this setting TVB kicks in and getting very good bitrates. :) Something crashing in the background with my EC sometimes. Qled jumps to 01 and look at the motherboard and CPU temps in...

It ran for 2 minutes in VST, then it dropped it. But not with error, it just stopped and package power went idle. But it wasn't insta crash.

Actually I remember that with my 13900KS somehow I was able to run it on 1.35V SA, and it was stable. And after a BIOS reset I wasn't to able to make it work again. Maybe that came from an ODT training "issue".

I don't think there are user errors in this case. For me TM5 freezes after some cycles when I am above my SA limit. Y cannot run a second. Tried with combination a lot of VDD2 and everything, I cannot step through 1.23V.

It's a huuuuuge delta. But it handles it very good. I ran some tests before but it always crased at 12-16 min after every retrain. My tRFCpb was too tight. Didn't run TM5 yet, because my Windows kills every version for some reason, I will do it later. I will try the insta crash test, just I am...

This one tops out at 1.23V, any higher makes trouble. My bitchy KS has no problem even with 1.35V SA (it has problem with everything else. :d ) My 13900KS topped on 1.32V.

@CarSalesman gave me an idea about 8400C34, so I tried it. KF back in the slot (buying a new binned KS is in progress. :) ) So easy to work with this CPU compared to the bitchy KS. MEM_VDD: 1.68V MEM_VDDQ: 1.41V CPU_VDDQ: 1.24V SA: 1.12v VDD2: 1.462V RON: 48-40 / 40-48

I would raise vdd2 to 1.431V and keep SA on 1.12V

Seems like you tried the SA on 1.12V and now it ran 4 minutes.

Shouldn't drop in idle I believe. For me it doesn't even drop in a 12h workday on the pc.

Never saw it dropping that huge. Even on very unstable environment it stays around the set value. Look at his two per channel test above, both stays around 1.32V.

For me it's strange that his IVR TX dropping below 1V. Something strange happens on that rail. My IVR TX only dropping some mV below the set value. In my opinion SA is too much too (1,12V should be enough for 8000). TX seem also too much for that memVDDQ.

It's not easy. I can just hope that on next gen Asrock will continue from here where they are now with the Z790i lightning. Saw the new Epyc AM5 CPU's. They are quite good actually from my point of view.
