8266, still can't figure out what it wants.. dropped to 8200, just slapped together random voltages, and this is stable.. lol. 40 cycles 1usmus, 12 cycles VST/VT3 .. ridiculous. Starting to think the Apex might be limiting me here, but I dunno.

@Veii Thanks. I will try adjusting VDDQ TX downwards. I've tried higher values and they don't seem to help, or they make it worse. I didn't expect below 1.23v to be viable, but at this point, it's worth trying I suppose.

It is the strangest thing. @tibcsi0407 @Veii Around ~1hr, Error 0 popped up. I am busy and didn't have time to reboot and try new settings, so continued to let it run. It's now at 2hr 45min, and no further errors, just that single Error 0. Just doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. On...

I will try disabling a channel and testing that way if I can't find something stable by tomorrow. tCKE is set to Auto right now, just letting the board train it how it wants. tXP is 26 apparently; I will try changing that to 31. None of my changes today have resulted in anything better than...

not every board is the same, that’s the problem with poor QC. The later production batches tightened quality up a lot more.

By pulling an individual stick? That’s what I meant in that post — with the sticks on water, it’s too time consuming with the small amount I have to spend on this stuff these days. If there’s an easier way to do it.. that could be possible, like disabling the entire channel via BIOS, but I...

I don't know for sure, and with the DIMMs on water, I'm not going through the time to test each slot individually like I did with the Unify-X.. lol. This is a later production run white APEX (March 2023, I believe), which seemed to have quite good QC compared to earlier batches. If it is the...

I tried as low as 1.14v, I believe. These settings gave 3x Error 0 over 120cycles (around 10-1/2hrs, ran it overnight). This is the closest I’ve been to stability. CPU SA: 1.15v CPU VDDQ TX: 1.23v CPU VDD2: 1.40v DRAM VDD: 1.50v DRAM VDDQ: 1.45v I’m going to try raising VDD2 slightly to...

When I go higher on VDD, it errors faster. I used to run 36-48-48 @ 8200 1.48v/1.45v. My white APEX/IMC don’t seem to scale with more VDD2 voltage either :(

@tibcsi0407 @Veii Started from scratch.. having a tough time, not sure why? It's only 8266 :( Using Auto training rules with VDDQ training disabled.. White APEX with 2001 Beta BIOS (1901 official, same thing apparently), stock CPU with HT off, so voltage isn't a problem. I keep getting...

Longest I've ever gotten @ 8400, 40min so far, with my first attempt on fresh settings. This is a big improvement compared to older BIOS, so good job on ASUS. Time for work, we will see if it makes it ~8hrs. Yeah, always VDDQ training disabled

It is cursed! I have no excuse.. just rusty :p I was testing tRAS below the recommended and never changed it back. At 8200, it was VST/VT3 stable! I am on the White APEX (not Encore), using BIOS 1801. I am using the CTL0 values we found. I think it's a good idea to start from scratch -- you're...

@Veii I've finally started continuing the 2x24 testing after a few months of taking a break/enjoying the PC. I have still not cracked the IMC wall at 8400 (error 6 + error 0 spam), unfortunately, but my current project will hopefully help me scale to 8400 or higher. Previous stable setting...
