Haste mal geguckt ob Dein Windowze noch SMBv1 nutzt ?

Neuere Versionen von Ubuntu unterstützen das nicht mehr bzw. es muss extra enabled werden.

Da würde ich mit meinen bescheidenen Ubuntu Kenntnissen einen möglichen Zusammenhang vermuten.

Hast Du KB4480970 auf Win 7 drauf ? Das hatte zu Problemen mit SMBv2 geführt., eventuell auch mit SMBv1 problematisch ?

Jo mach mal, interessiert mich, ist sicher einfacher 16.04 LTS inkl. Updates neu zu installieren als eine Lösung für verkorkste Windows Updates zu finden.

Arbeitsrechner mit Windows 7 Home ? Okay.

Nutzt du unter Ubuntu eine Firewall (ufw/gufw)?

Windows 10 1709 and up connectivity problems - "Windows cannot access" 0x80004005
This error affects some machines running Windows 10 version 1709 and later. It is not related to SMB1 being disabled in this version but to the fact that Microsoft disabled insecure logons for guests on this version for some, but not others.

To fix, open Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). Navigate to Computer configuration\administrative templates\network\Lanman Workstation > Enable insecure guest logons and enable it. Alternatively,change the following value in the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters]
"AllowInsecureGuestAuth"=dword:1

Protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_RESET
Probably the server is configured not to accept protocol SMB1. Add option client max protocol = SMB2 in /etc/samba/smb.conf. Or just pass argument -m SMB2 to smbclient.

Und der Kandidat hat hundert Punkte.

Ich nutzte selbst noch Windows7 auf einigen Kisten, mir ging es mehr um die Home Version, die halt doch einige Einschränkungen hat.

Wenn ich mit Ubuntu was mache, dann halt eher ausgefallene Sachen. (z.B. Server mit 10 NICs an denen jeweils eine Internetverbindung/ein Router hängt)
