Hi. My cpu is 9900K and mobo Asus Prime Z390-A. I oc my cpu due to click: Asus 5ghz Oc profile. Then i apply XMP profile. Memory GSKILL 32GB 3000mhz.

But i saw that in UEFI CPU core/cache voltage was on the left : 0.935 and on right ( AUTO ).

So for stability i manually raise voltage to 1.31v. My question is ,that this option PROFILE 5GHZ OC not changing voltage or what?

I ask because after applying Asus 5G OC PROFILE i applied XMP profile. But under load in REALBENCH i had whea enteries 19.So went to UEFI and i met that option:"CPU core/cache voltage was on the left : 0.950 and on right ( AUTO )."

So i manually enter 1.29V whea still, then 1.31v and no wheas. So thats why i ask. That profile enter automatically lower voltage than i entered? Its almost impossible that was voltage was higher on auto after applying profile, because when i enter 1.31v wheas not appeared.

So auto was a bit lower than 1.31v?

First of all

pls dont use any automatic 5ghz Oc profile anymore.

Turn the voltage on Auto or tune it by offset function according to your bios Settings.

In order to obtain correct CPU core/cache voltage reffer to the operations manuel of your board or the official specification of your cpu manufacturer.

I enter manually 1.31v and no wheas. On 1.29v,1.30v wheas appeared during REALBENCH. So question is ,that voltage on AUTO was lower after applying LOAD 5G OC PROFILE?

Normally Auto voltage on CPU works correct on base of the VID of your cpu but maybe your 5G OC PROFILE has a missmatch or something like that, so my suggestion is not to use any automatic OC-function.

ok but after applying 5G OC PROFILE i apply XMPI too. So maybe XMPI override cpu voltage?

XMP profiles does normally regulate only the voltage of your RAM.

Would suggest to activate a CMOS-Reset on your board to make sure, that all systems work on normal parameters, so that you can start on that base your manuel OC if it is necessary.

Like i said its working fine on 5ghz but on 1.31v manual. But i dont remember what was voltage on AUTO on 5G OC PROFILE. Maybe retest and check?

No if it works let it be, as you know never change a running System ;)

I do it manually again.

Hello. Is my settings ok?

I overclocked 9900K to 5ghz. Mobo : Asus Prime Z390-A.

Gskill 2x8GB 3000MHZ DDR4.

So :

XMPI

Core Ratio: Sync All Cores i enter 50

LOAD LINE CALIBRATION LEVEL 6

Cpu Core Voltage Override 1.300

Long Duration Package Power Limit 4095

Package Power Time Window 127

Short Duration Package Power Limit 4095

And running RealBench for 2 hours no wheas and no bsods.

Of course in games stable.

Should i change something too or left like it is? Voltage fluctuate during RealBench 1.296v-1.305V. Is this ok?

Cpu temps 80-90C in RealBench. Cpu cooler Noctua NH-D15
