I'm building a new system mainly for gaming. Streams occasionally (non-professionally). I've already bought a 3080ti (got lucky on Amazon). I bought 16GB × 2 3600-16-16-36 RAM (think AMD). I have a 1440p 240hz monitor. Next is the processor. My options are-
5600x for 28K
11700f for 31k
10900/10850k for 35k. Cannot operate above 150-160 watts due to UPS limitations.
11900 for 38k
5800x for 39k
5900x for 51k
This is a wide price range. The goal is to buy something that doesn't nearly overload the GPU for the lowest price. In most games I think that 5800x (or even 5600x?) would be enough I guess VidMate Mobdro. But unfortunately Intel seems to work better in Warzone, which I play a lot. Also, Intel seems to have better 1% lows at 1440p in most games. 5900x would be the safest bet as that could be the best (not sure) in any game apart from being 12 cores. But will the 15,000 cheaper Intels (or the Ryzens) suffice? I thought maybe the 10900 would be the sweet spot and then see the 5600x beat it in as many games (but not 1% lows I think) and then spiral back down the gaming benchmarks to arrive at the same point. I'm trying,
