Debian 4 Etch: rpcbind / RPC localhost Fehler

Moing Jungs,
Ich hab ein mehr oder weniger großes Problem:
Hab gestern Abend ein Debian 4 Etch-System mit der Netinstall-CD aufgesetzt und dort dann einen Call-of-Duty-4-Server eingerichtet.

Irgendwo ist noch der Wurm drin beim Booten, an der Stelle hängt er dann 3-4 Minuten, bis er das ignoriert und weitermacht.
Kann aber nicht ok sein, nur bisher finde ich dazu nichts im Internet :shake:

da fehlt jetzt auch komischerweise "lo" also die lokale Schleife.

Aber Internet und Netzwerk geht auf dem Shuttle trotzdem noch, daher weiß ich nicht so recht, wo ich jetzt ansetzen soll.

wie sieht den deine /etc/network/interfaces aus?

lo wird eigentlich nur gebraucht für einige dienste damit sie auf sich selbst zeigen, Netzwerk sollte also trotzdem gehn..

sieht doch ziemlich einduetig nach einem problem mit nfs aus.
hängt evtl. mit portmapper zusammen.
 
wenn es was wegen NFS ist, schau mal ob "rpc.statd" läuft (kommt von nfs-common)

brauchst du nfs?
wenn ja, musst du dich etwas mit der konfiguration beschäftigen, damit es wieder ordentlich läuft. ansonsten deinstalliers doch einfach
 
Wofür ist das nfs ?

Ich wollte demnächst noch nen Apache2 aufsetzen, und eventuell auch mit Netzwerk-Tools noch was testen.

du brauchst es fürs netzwerk, also dateifreigaben, zugriffe etc.
gib doch mal die fehlermeldung aus deinem log, also di mit rpc failed to contact... bei google ein und schau wie man das problem löst, ich weiss es direkt nicht.
 
Sieht ziemlich deutlich danach aus als läge es daran dass lo fehlt. Aktivier mal network loopback interface support.

eigentlich .... Samba funktioniert, aber Linux-eigene Freigaben dürften dann nicht funktionieren ?!


Die Fehlermeldung hab ich bei google schon eingegeben, aber leider nichts brauchbares gefunden, etwas rumprobiert, aber verändert hat sich nichts...

Bin grade am Überlegen, das gesamte Debian nochmal neu aufzusetzen ..... zum dritten mal....

Sehr merkwürdig das ganze...

Vielleicht könnte mir noch jemand sagen, wo die ganzen dienste drinstehen, in der /etc/rc.local sind sie nicht, da würde ich sonst rpcbind/rpc und nfs mal rausschmeißen und dann testen, ob noch alles geht ...
 
Stehen in /etc/init.d und sind von da aus in die einzelnen Runlevels (/etc/rcX.d) in deinem Fall wohl /etc/rc2.d verlinkt. Siehe auch /etc/inittab

Wenn ich NFS ausmache, geht weder Samba noch Dateifreigabe allgemein.

Hab eben Debian neu draufgemacht und nun geht alles ;)

das kann aber auch nicht immer die lösung sein. wir sind doch hier nicht bei windows ... :-)
 
jo, war auch erst mein letzter ausweg, nur ich brauch das Ding jetzt einsatzbereit und kann nicht noch 2-3 Tage drann rumexperimentieren.

Wie gesagt, jetzt geht es, und dann werde ich es erstmal mehr benutzen, als dran rumspielen ;)
