naja ich brauchs für nen theme.

so, beta wird auch nicht mit aufgeführt :hmm:

liegt es vll an columns ui ?

oder ist mein pfad falsch? C:\Program Files (x86)\foobar2000\components

die anderen werden ja mit aufgelistet nur das nich -.-

Sorry... ich habe es gerade nochmal mit der aktuellen foobar-Version probiert. Bei mir das Gleiche. Stimmt... Panels UI wird maximal bis foobar2000-Version 0.9.5.2 unterstützt.

also kann ich da nen haken dran machen

so, dadurch das dieses thema sich erledigt hat suche ich trotzdem weiter um einigermaßen ans ziel zu kommen

und zwar will ich das die ganze benutzeroberfläche im aero glas erscheint. so in der art --> http://re-9.deviantart.com/art/aero-81141822
 
So transparent ist es wohl ausser mitPanels UI (meines Wissens nach) nicht so wirklich möglich. :(
 
kann es sein das der entwickler in die falsche richtung entwickelt? denn so wirklich variabel wie in den anfangszeiten ist er nicht mehr
 
Der Entwickler von von foobar2000 oder von "Panels UI"? Also variabel ist foobar2000 doch immer noch. Sogar mehr als zu Anfang. Nachdem "Panels UI" nicht mehr weiterentwickelt wurde und dann auch nicht mehr von fb2k unterstützt wurde kam ja als "Ersatz" der Panel Stack Splitter für Columns UI. Und mit dem Teil lässt sich auch ne Menge veranstalten - siehe z.b. die Configs von ~Br3tt Brett.
 
@Bollerkopp: hast du für mich einen Tipp für eine Alternative unter Linux, habe nun schon einige Player ausprobiert (audacious, exaile, banshee, rythmbox) aber alle sind beim umschalten wenn ich einen song anklicke einfach um einiges langsamer als foobar...

edit: habs gerade mal per Wine installiert, ist zwar eine unschöne Variante aber dafür habe ich einen ordentlichen Musikplayer :P

  • Menu layout changes

    A new Context Menu structure has been introduced along with a reworked context menu preferences page.
    Holding down shift while opening a menu - with both context and main menu - will bring up menu commands that are normally hidden, so you no longer need to go through the preferences page to access obscure commands that are hidden by default.

  • Reworked Preferences

    Various standard Preferences pages have been reworked. The Preferences dialog now has OK, Apply and Cancel buttons. Existing components need to be updated to utilize the new Preferences functionality.

  • New Edit Menu behavior

    With Default User Interface, the Edit Menu commands operate on currently selected items, not just on the currently active playlist. This allows - for an example - to use the Copy command on Album List selection.
    This feature currently does not work with third party user interfaces - Edit Menu commands operate on the active playlist just like in old foobar2000 versions; relevant components will need to be updated to comply.

  • Custom cover art filename patterns

    You can now set custom filename patterns and paths for front cover, back cover, artist and disc artwork. You also have the ability to set a stub image for each of these.

  • New configuration file format

    Configuration of individual components is now stored in separate files. Reading of old configuration files is still supported so your settings will be preserved while upgrading from older versions; however you will not be able to downgrade back to older 0.9.x releases without losing your settings.

  • Built-in support for Windows Media streaming

    Buggy third party components are no longer required to play ASX/MMS/RTSP streams. It's recommended to uninstall relevant components.

  • Time limit in beta versions

    To prevent people from running outdated beta versions, every beta version now expires after four weeks from the original release.

habe mal Foobar2000 über Wine installiert, läuft mit dem emulierten Soundtreiber gut solange man die CPU sonst nicht großartig auslastet.

Habe letztens allerdings einen neuen Kernel kompiliert und eine HD-Aufnahme zur gleichen Zeit umgewandelt und da lief der Sound nicht mehr flüssig, zumindest in foobar, in allen anderen nativen Playern schon

hey boller wenn ich jetze foo 1.0 installe updated er aber trotzdem doch nur oder? also das meine einstellungen wie sie jetzt sind nicht kaputt gehn.

ja, einfach die neue Version über Deine Jetzige installieren. Deine Einstellungen bleiben erhalten. Auf jeden Fall nicht erst die alte Version deinstallieren, denn dann gehen alle Einstellungen verloren.

  • Bug fix: Incorrect sorting of the "Duration" column in Default UI.

  • Installer now forcefully removes very old components that can no longer be loaded. You will be prompted before anything gets deleted so you can back relevant files up.

So wie es aussieht muss man wohl auf ein Update des Plugins warten. :( Eine Alternative scheint es wohl nicht zu geben, bzw. ich habe keine gefunden.

vielleicht ganz interessant für Mac-User, die foobar2000 nach dem Wechsel von Windows vermissen, bzw. die einfach mal den Player auf dem Mac testen möchten ohne grosses Rumschrauben mit "Wine":

So I've finally found some passion for seriously listening to music again and iTunes just wasn't cutting it for me. Cog didn't quite have all the features I wanted, and I couldn't get Play to compile or run on Snow Leopard. That only left one option: foobar2000 under Wine.

People have been running foobar2000 under Wine for awhile, mostly successfully. However, it's kind of a hassle to have to download, read about, and configure Wine correctly when you just want to be listening to your music already. To alleviate some of the annoyance, I've created a little app bundle and installer for foobar2000 and Wine. What you get is a foobar2000.app that you can just double click on and it will load more or less like any other app. Of course, the controls look like Windows controls, but hey, we can't have everything, right?

cool, wenn ich mir bald mein MBP bestell werd ich das gleich testen, kann nämlich iTunes auch nich wirklich ab. Vielleicht kann mal jemand schon vorab testen und Probleme beseitigen oder feststellen :)

Weiil ich werd mich dann auch erstmal mit der Mac-Materie befassen müssen und weiss das es nich in 10 min getan ist, also sich an alles zu gewöhnen.

This is most likely the last beta version before 1.0 final. There have been no major bug reports since the previous beta. I personally recommend all users to install it - make a new portable install if you don't want to overwrite your existing 0.9.x install yet - and try it, so if there is anything seriously wrong, you don't miss your chance to report it before the stable version is out.

Warum spielt mir Foobar keine AC3 Spur ab mit Wasapi spdif Passthrough? AC3 Plugin ist drin :)

Unrecoverable playback error: Unsupported stream format: 48000 Hz / 24-bit / 6 channels <---- was ist daran so ungewöhnlich?

also AC3 Decoder ist die Frage wozu ? :) Ich schicke das eh bitstream optisch an meinen Denon A11XVA der kann das bestens decodieren was meine Xonar XD füttert :)

edit WASAPI und AC3 Decoder sind die aktuellste vorhanden.

Welche foobar-Version benutzt Du denn? Und hast Du irgendwelche DSP-Plugins unter "Preferences" - "Playback" - "DSP Manager"? Und wenn ja, welche?

Und wie sieht es bei Dir unter "Playback" - "Output" aus? :)

Leider könnte ich es auch nicht genau reproduzieren, da ich kein Vista oder 7 benutze (WASAPI) und auch nicht solch einen edlen Verstärker (Passthrough) habe. :d
