Es ist ja Bald so weit - dass Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 - wird bei den Händlern ankommen.
Also wird es auch schon Zeit für die ersten Bilder, Daten und Fakten.

In ca. 3 Wochen wird das Board für einen Preis von ca. 220 Euro im Handel zu haben sein.

UPDATE: Das Board ist mittlerweile für einen Preis von rund 200 Euro bei Geizhals erhältlich

Wie das P35 DQ6 bietet auch das X38 ein Quad-Bios an und eine 12Phasen Versorgung.

- Bei großen Karten wie GTX oder HD 29 muss der Speicher vorher eingebaut 
werden, danach ist nur noch der ausbau möglich
- Es ist kein Problem den Scythe Infinity bzw. Mugen zu verwenden.

- für alle die es interessiert. Ich habe mal die Soundkarte testhalber auf den ersten PCI Slot gesteckt und dabei rausgefunden, das dieser Steckplatz seinen IRQ nicht shared. Also daher der Tipp an alle: wenn ihr wichtige Karten habt, nutzt sie im erstn PCI Slot (also direkt unter dem zweiten PCIe x16 Steckplatz), unter Umständen könnte euch das Ärger ersparen, denn der untere PCI Slot shared den IRQ mit anderen Geräten. Ich überlege mir evtl. bald wg. einer 2. GraKa das Board zu holen. Welche unterschiede gibts es zum ca. 30€ günstigeren DS5 und ist es wirklich empfehlenswert? Ich hatte von problemen gelesen oder ist das alles Humbug?

Moin,
wieso kann ich eigentlich nicht mehr, wenn ich die Vdimm auf über 2V gestellt habe wieder normal runterstellen? Anscheinend muss ich das kompl. Board reseten!!! Sowie die Vdimm in ROTangezeigt wird...
Wäre nett hier ma ne antwort zu bekommen, nervt mich ganzschön

sry das hast du ein wenig missverstanden, das mit dem vergleich soll nur den leistungsmäßigen Unterschied zwischen P35-DQ6 und X38-DQ6 zeigen :wink:

wieso ist das x38-dq6 nicht mehr gelistet bei alternate z.B.?
Serienfehler?
ich habe nämlich mit 2 x38-dq6ern absturzprobleme d.h. spontane restarts - meines subjektiven empfindens nach ist das ein audioproblem: als ich die onboard-karte deaktiviert habe, lief es sowit glaub ich. kA - hatte jnd. ähnliche probleme?
Aber dass die Karte nicht mehr bei alternate verkauft wird macht mich stutzig...

ich gucke auch des oefteren bei alternate rein .. ist schon seit 3 wochen so das die nur noch das x38-ds5 und das immer rotseinende x48-dq6 gelistet haben
macht vielleicht dahingehend sinn weil das x38-ds5 das kleinere guenstigere x38 board ist .. und das x48-dq6 das grosse vollausgestatte teurere x48 mb ist
nur doof das das x48-dq6 rot ist

Habe meins auch heute bestellt und jetzt fehlt nur noch der E8500 um mein System zu perfektionieren.

Muss man beim Mainboard-Wechsel eigentlich auch das Betriebssystem neu aufsetzen?

so grad hat sich Gigabyte bei mir gemeldet und mir gesagt, dass ich das X48 Board wohl im Januar bekommen werde
