The A59 was a Rallye project car whos body was designed by Schmidt Motor Company for VW Motorsport. Schmidt is the company who designed the body and performance upgrades for all the Audi S and RS cars.. The body consist of Carbon Kevlar panels, designed for strength and light weight. The original A59 cars were equipped with an early Haldex 4wheel drive system and utilized a turbo 16v 4cyl that made over 400 hp. There were only 3 A59 body kits built by Schmidt Motor Company, only two cars were completed by VW Motorsport, which left one body kit on the shelf. The NGP A59 is based on a 97 drivers edition GTI VR6. This car is fitted with that final A59 body kit. We are currently installing a 350 whp NGP turbo kit to our 12Valve VR6 in the NGP A59. Keep your eyes on this project!!!
