Das Gehäuse verfügt über ein USB 2.0 Interface sowie einen 18 dBA 80mm Lüfter, der die verwendete Festplatte mit frischer Luft versorgt. Die Hardware-Verschlüsselung wird mittels eines X-wall 40-Bit Chiffrierchips ermöglicht. Der Zugriff auf die Daten kann nur erfolgen, wenn einer der beiden USB Sticks eingesteckt ist. Diese verfügen über den identischen Sicherheits-Schlüssel (S-KEYs).
