ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), the leading provider of high-performance graphics solutions, today introduced the ASUS AX800 graphics card series, which delivers the most powerful visual processing capability to date. It also incorporated unique features found only in ASUS solutions to enhance the overall graphics and computing experience. The ASUS AX800 series includes two models, the AX800 XT and AX800 PRO.

The AX800 series, based on ATI's Radeon X800 series VPU (video processing unit), provides twice the visual processing power compared with those of current graphics accelerators for superior performance in video playback and 3D gaming. The AX800 XT supports 520MHz of core engine speed, 256MB DDR3 memory running at 1.12GHz as well as video-in and DVI-I connector for diverse output support. The AX800 PRO provides 475MHz of core engine speed, 256MB DDR3 memory running at 900MHz and DVI-I connector.

"We are very excited to be working with ASUS in developing the fastest and most powerful graphics solutions," said Rick Bergman, Senior Vice President and General Manager of ATI Technologies Inc. "I am also extremely impressed with ASUS' efforts in adding innovative and exclusive features to enhance the overall graphics experience that our VPU provides."

The AX800 series also incorporated innovative features found uniquely on ASUS graphics cards.
GameFace Live – Talk to and see your teammates
GameFace Live is the world's first multi-player, video/audio communication solutions for DirectX PC gaming. It enables simultaneous connection of up to eight players, allowing gamers to talk to and see their teammates or the enemy during PC gaming.

VideoSecurity Online– Set up a home security system
Simply aim the webcam to a specific area and this unique feature will monitor that location, take snap shots of any unauthorized visitors and send out warning messages to a preprogrammed recipient via e-mail or phone call.

Onscreen Display – Fast setting adjustment
This feature allows users to adjust general settings such as brightness and contrast levels, VR settings and extra light settings while watching movies or playing 3D games. No need to stop the movie or game.

For the instant fun right out of the box, ASUS bundled two hot titles: Counter Strike: Condition Zero(CSCZ) and DEUS EX: Invisible War. A high-quality 300,000-pixel web cam is also included. No other competing solutions offer such a value-rich package.

The ASUS AX800 series will be available worldwide soon. For more information, please visit the ASUS homepage at www.asus.com.
