Ausgestattet mit dem VIA K8T890 Chipsatz unterstützt das AX8 die neusten cutting-edge Technologien, inklusive der neusten Socket 939 Athlon 64/64 FX CPUs und bis zu 4 GB High-Speed Dual Channel DDR 400 Speicher. 2 GHz HyperTransport Technology liefert eine eindrucksvolle Systembandbreite für ressourcenhungrige 3D Spiele und Programme, während die Cool n' Quiet Technologie die Systemtemperatur und Geräuschlevel im Griff hält. Das AX8 unterstützt den neuen PCI Express X16 Bus der garantiert die vierfache Bandbreite des AGP 8X für die neusten High-Octane Grafikkarten aufweist. Das AX8 unterstützt ferner bis zu 4 Kanäle SATA 150 RAID. Benutzen Sie RAID 0 für besser Performance oder RAID 1 für höhere Datensicherheit.
