Sapphire beschreibt das Mainboard selbst als High-End-Produkt, das für Spieler und PC-Enthusiasten entwickelt wurde. Das PURE Innovation basiert auf den neuesten ATI Xpress-200-Chipsätzen und der neuesten Southbridge SB450. Der Hauptspeicher kann auf maximal 4 GB Dual-Channel DDR400 ausgebaut werden. Dem Anwender stehen PCI-Express x16, zwei PCI-Express x1 sowie zwei zusätzliche PCI Steckplätze zur Verfügung. Die kompletten integrierten Kommunikationsoptionen beinhalten Gigabit LAN und Firewire sowie acht USB 2.0 Anschlüsse und einen integrierten High-Definition-Azalia 7.1 8-Kanal Sound. Die Unterstützung für IDE, Serial-ATA I und Serial-ATA II garantiert maximale Kompatibilität für alle Laufwerkstypen. Das Mainboard soll in einigen Wochen zum Preis von 179 Euro erhältlich sein.
