Das MSI RD480 Neo2 basiert natürlich auf dem ATI Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire (RD480) Chipsatz mit ULI M1573 Southbridge. Das Mainboard bietet neben den beiden PCI-Express x16 Steckplätzen noch zwei PCI-Express x1 Slots, 2x PCI, Serial-ATA I, 7.1 Channel Audio, Gigabit Ethernet und FireWire.
