Basierend auf AMDs 780G- und SB700-Chipsätzen bringt Mainboardhersteller AsRock das A780FullDisplayPort auf den Markt. Wie der Name schon sagt, beinhaltet es laut Hersteller als weltweit Erstes seiner Art einen DisplayPort-Anschluss. Mit integrierter AMD-RV610-Grafik, DirectX-10-Support, Pixel Shader 4.0 und vier Anschlussmöglichkeiten für Monitore (VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display Port) ist es für die Zukunft gerüstet. Natürlich - wie es sich für ein Mainboard mit diesen Features gehört - unterstützt es die Ausgabe von FullHD-Blu-ray/HD-DVD-Material in 1080p.
