"Star Trek: Legacy" ist ein Action-Strategie Hybride und soll die komplette Star Trek Geschichte vertreten. Von den ersten Enterprise Abenteuern, bis hin zu Deep Space Nine sollen alle Facetten der Science-Fiction Welt beleuchtet werden. Das Spiel soll im September diesen Jahres für PC und XBox360 erscheinen. Entwickler Mad Doc Software zeichnete sich bisher u.a. auch für die Entwicklung von "Star Trek: Armada" verantwortlich. Paramounts Interactive Director Harry Lang äußerte sich in einem Star Trek Gaming Forum zum kommenden Titel: A few things I will say is that it's been a long time coming.
