Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 veröffentlicht
Nachdem die [url=http://www.mozilla.org]Mozilla Foundation[/url] vor wenigen Wochen ihre Roadmap etwas nach hinten korrigieren musste, wurde heute planmäßig der
Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 veröffentlicht. Im Gegensatz zur Version 1.0.4 wurde unter anderem eine automatische Update und eine Drag and Drop Funktion hinzugefügt. Des weiteren wurde die Performance des Seitenaufbaus verbessert, vor allem die der Vor/Zurück Option. Auch der Popup-Blocker wurde stark verbessert und dürfte den Benutzer nun noch besser vor unerwünschter Werbung schützen. Bisher ist diese Beta Version nur in englischer Sprache erhältlich.

New support for Web Standards including SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.
Many security enhancements.
