Hi

ich dachte mal das kann vielleicht nicht schaden mal ein paar gemoddete bios zu sammeln. es ist bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei.
wenn ihr auch noch welche habt, könnt ihr sie ja posten.

es handelt sich hier um versionen von tictac, merlin, ....

Das verwenden eines gemoddeten Bios, muss jeder selbst entscheiden

hier nochmal ein review zum thema cpc on oder cpc off. leider in englisch, aber ich habe nichts in deutsch gefunden.

1 . Changed the Optimal and Aggressive CPU Interface Table above 200 MHz FSB:
- DISABLE CPU Interface has been modified to be more user-friendly
for high FSB overclocking
- ENABLE CPU Interface now recalls the lost bandwidth when FSB
is above 200 MHz and at a multiplier that is under 10

2 . No L12 Mod needed for 133MHz & 166MHz. All CPU will be running on 200MHz CPU Profile

ne vdimm wirst du immer noch nicht auslesen können, da am code eigentlich nichts verändert wurde, sondern nur biosoptionen freigeschaltet wurden, die der mb hersteller "ausgeschaltet" hatte

wie blander schon gesagt hat, es werden optionen freigeschaltet die vorher nicht angezeigt wurden. ich benutze zum beispiel ein merlin bios für mein nf7s r2, mit dem kann ich jetzt einen fsb von 230 fahren und bis 256 benchen.

das kann man so pauschal nicht sagen, da wirst du ein paar ausprobieren mussen. aber das d25 von merlin mit cpc on für 2x256 ist recht gut sowie das d24 von tictac.

bei cpc option muss jedoch gesagt werden, dass disable performance einbussen bringt

ich habe gelesen das die bios versionen von tictac auf den internen timmings, einstellungen der dfi lanparty und infinity beruhen. somit wird die performance auf für das nf7 zwar etwas reduziert, sie sind aber auf dem gleichen höhe wie die des infinity oder des lanparty boards. das erklärt auch warum die dfi boards so gut gehen.
die haben ab werk schon ein gemoddetes bios drauf.
