Tag 8 wo mein 170hm bei goldenstar/clevo ist - auf Rückfrage, was mit meinem Book ist und wann ich mit einem Rückversand rechnen kann bei goldenstar => keine Antwort seit 28 Stunden, von hawkforce gestern antwort bekommen, dass noch keine Informationen vorliegen und das Gerät auch noch nicht bei Ihnen ist.
Schade - sowas nervt und ich benötige das Ding mal wieder um etwas arbeiten zu können.
Frage daher => hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen mit RMA bei Goldenstar/Clevo gemacht?

Das Gerät ist Dienstag letzte Woche bei goldenster eingegangen - geht ja nicht um mein Paket sondern die auskunftsfreudigkeit des Schuppens.
Als Kunde erwarte ich bei einem Garantiefall nach gewisser zeit eben eine Auskunft, was kaputt ist und wann ich mit einem Abschluss des rma rechnen kann - naja nun weiß ich wieso du bei Dell mehr zahlst, der Service ist grandios, clevo liegt im mittel mit Panasonic - die brauchen auch ewig und ohne Rückfrage weißt nicht, wie es mit der Bearbeitung aussieht ;-)
"...noch nicht bei IHNEN ist..." = hawkforce, nicht goldenstar. schreib deutlicher! ;-)
rma meines nb hat insgesamt fast 4 wochen gedauert. ich hock aber auch in wien und habe es via hf dazwischen abgewickelt. ich glaube, es war knapp 1 woche bei clevo. bin aber nicht mehr sicher. laut hf lassen die das Gerät länger laufen nach Reparatur, damit die sehen, ob es passt. lasttests und so. ruf goldenstar an, was damit ist. oder sie haben es schlichtweg übersehen bis jetzt.
Ich finde meine Ausdrucksweise ist verständlich, steht ja im Satz das es bei Goldenstar ist seit 8 Tagen ;-)
Hawkforce hatte ich zuerst kontaktiert zwecks einer zwischeninfo, da hatte man keine Info seitens Goldenstar vorliegen, als auch kein Gerät erhalten, weil ich es auch über Hawkforce abgeleiert habe zum prüfen. Daraufhin habe ich selber Goldenstar kontaktiert.
Habe nun seitens Hawkforce heute morgen eine Email bekommen, dass das Gerät auf dem weg zu ihnen ist. Und das auch Hawkforce nicht klar ist, wieso goldenstar keine Info weitergegeben hat. Na dann warte ich mal auf die Kiste ;-)

Habe momentan wieder ein kleines Problem mit meinem P170HM (XMG P701)
Ich benutze momentan Windows 8. Hotkey-Treiber von der XMG-Seite wurde installiert.
Die FN+... Hotkeys funktionieren auch einwandfrei. Lediglich die Helligkeit meines Displays lässt sich nicht mehr Regeln.
Weder unter Windows in den Optionen, noch per Hotkey Treiber die "Balken" werden angezeigt und der Regler wechselt von 0 auf 100 aber die Helligkeit des Displays reagiert nicht.
Bei niedrigem Akku kann der Laptop seltsamerweise die Helligkeit verringern Manuel lässt sich aber auch dann nichts einstellen.
Hat jemand einen Lösungsansatz für mich?

Ich Nutze Win 8 jetzt schon sehr Lange und möchte nicht wieder auf Win 7 zurück. Was mich irritiert ist einfach das sämtliche Einstellung der Hotkey Tasten einwandfrei funktionieren. Außer halt die Helligkeit dazu kommt das diese im Windows auch nicht mehr Manuel regalbar ist.
naja 600 Euro für eine Notebook Karte ist halt recht happig wie ich finde ;-) Solange die aktuellen Spiele recht gut laufen, werde ich nicht unbedingt wechseln - mal schauen wie es in der zweiten Jahreshälfte aussieht.
im 2. Halbjahr gibts schon die neuen gpu/cpu Generationen. magst nicht lieber bei einem neuen book zuschlagen? meine bastelkarte willst nicht? hab dir mal eine pn geschickt. ..

Was bringt es?
• In Game und Benchmark durch den verbesserten Luftstrom ca. 5 - 7 Grad niedrigere Temperaturen, da die Luft nun durch die Heatsinkenden gepustet und nicht seitlich im Gehäuse verteilt wird. Desweiteren ist das HM nun im Office Betrieb angenehm leise.
Würdest du es nochmal machen?
Bei jedem Barebone das die Möglichkeit dazu bietet - effektiv und günstig.
UPDATE:
Habs am WE nicht geschafft die GPU nochmal neu zu machen, werde aber sowieso die CPU neu machen müssen, sobald mein 2760QM eingetroffen ist - mache dann beide nochmal frisch, ggf. nochmal neue WLP und dann schauen wir mal. Im April kommt dann eine Next-Gen GPU rein vom Schlag 7970M oder 680M - lieber wäre mir die NVIDIA; hatte seit Jahren keine mehr und die Eigenschaften der Karte sind einfach etwas performanter - zudem kein vBios rumspielen notwendig, es reicht eine Karte für das EM-Model, damit das Ding out-of-the-box funktioniert.
Benchmarks habe ich bereits dokumentiert für die aktuelle Konfig
Heute ist mein Intel 2760QM eingetroffen, habe ich gerade verbaut und status quo damit erstmal bei Sysprofile aktualisiert, mache noch geschwind ein paar 3D Mark benches, dann hätte ich alle 3 Stadien des Books dokumentiert.
Zwecks dem Umbau, ich schau mal wie ich Lust habe mit der Kamera - aber geplant ist ein kleines Tut, wie wo was eben.

Noch keine Neuigkeiten seitens Notebookguru/Barebone bekommen, es hiess die Karte soll gestern auf die Reise gegen per NN; aber eine Antwort auf meine Rückfrage ob das auch passiert ist, steht noch aus.

GPU ging grad erst per NN auf den weg, hoffe das Ding kommt morgen - dann kann ich am Wochenende umbauen ;-)
@F1r3: du wirst es nicht bereuen, ich habe die 7970m seit letztem Jahr Oktober in meinem 170HM. Da geht aber noch mehr, habe mit meiner bei 3DMark11 Performance ca. 7200punkte und im 3DMark 13 ca. 5080Punkte. Karte läuft auf 1000/1560MHz aber noch mit einem 2670QM, der 2860QM ist unterwegs
Bekomme eine Austausch 7970m asap - meine hat schmauchspuren am platinenrand - solange bleibt der clevo erstmal inaktiv und ich kann das Tut nicht schreiben - narf

Neue Karte wurde um 14 Uhr mit dem passenden VBios gemoddet und befindet sich seit 14.45 Uhr auf dem weg zu mir. Mit viel glück ist das gute Stück morgen bei mir

Die AustauschKarte ist defekt - Stehe in Verhandlung wie es nun weitergeht.
Ja das dies alles nicht so wirklich funktioniert beim P570WM hab ich teilweise auch schon festgestellt und im Sammeltopic angesprochen ... kann ich beim besten Willen nicht nachvollziehen, wenn man sich vor Augen hält, das sich dies Gerät ca 1 Jahr verspätet hatte!
Update: Seit dem Wochnende keinerlei Reaktion auf meine E-Mails bekommen.. So sieht leider kein guter Service aus.. Sitze also nun auf einer Schmauchspurenkarte mit 2D Bildfehlerchen und einer bei 3D abstürzenden 7970M fest. Hätte ich bloss die 6970M drinne gelassen..
Nur um das nochmal zu verstehen: Du hattest eine 7970M gekauft und auch bekommen. Diese funktioniert auch einwandfrei aber hat "Schmauchspuren (???) am Platinenrand" (Edit: und 2D Bildfehler). Dann wurde dir eine zweite Karte geschickt, welche nun aber auch nicht funktioniert (3D Abstürtze)?! Hast du die zweite nicht im Austausch bekommen für die erste oder hast du beide bezahlt?!
