8800GTX overclocking -mixed results

Hello everyone,

I am quite new to this forum , so:

do you guys have the same experience as I do? I had the chance to try altogether 3 8800GTX s / BFG ASUS and OCZ / and all of them clocked roughly the same -maximum was 630/2050 or like that -so no
650-660-670 chip on air for me

Maybe some ot the chips reviewed elsewhere were just the "press " sampes e.g. cherry picked ones ? Most probably YES

I've got a Leadtek 8800 GTX and my maximum was at 635/1020. A friend got a Sparkle and it's exactly the same with his card. I think the time with 660-670 MHz-chips is over Only the first G80's seems to reach these clocks.
