Habe mir ja das Extreme9 gekauft und eine da drauf soll die X941, selbstverständlich möchteich davon booten. Also muss ich das 1.10b Bios aufs Brett bringen. Wie flashe ich das jetzt genau, wenn ich den PC komplett neu aufsetze. Möchte ja nicht erst das BS installieren. Das soll dann gleich auf die X941 drauf.

Mal ne Frage zur XP941. Ich habe meine noch nicht verbaut und frage deshalb hier schon al.
Kann man die auch mit dem SAMSUNG Magician in den RAPID Mode setzen? das bringt ja auch noch mal einiges mehr.

Also im Handbuch konnte ich nicts darüber finden. Deshalb hier noch einmal die Frage. Ich möchte nach dem Zusammenbau des neuen Systems, gleich das Bios auf die Version 1.10b flashen. Ist es so möglich, dass ich das 8,1 MB große File auf einen USB Stick pack und vom Bios aus angeben kann, dass sich das neue zu flashende Bios auf dem Stick befindet? Funktioniert das so, oder habe ich einen Denkfehler? früher musste man ja einen bootbaren Stick erstellen, ein Programm draufpacken und die neue Bios Datei.

Habe heute das Extreme 6 eingebaut? Läuft soweit, aber der Durchsatz der Asmedia 1061 - SATA-Ports ist ziemlich schwach.
Auf dem Asus z87 Deluxe hatte ich knapp 400 MB/s lesen. Beim Asrock knapp 100 MB/s weniger.
Diverse Treiber habe ch schon probiert.

Hat jemand eine Idee bzw. kennt jemand das Problem ?

Was heißt leider? Der RAPID Mode ist Augenwischerei um bei einigen Benchmarks tolle Ergebnisse zu bekommen und Magician, vor allem seine "OS Optimierungen" ist doch totaler Mist, nur die FW Update Funktion davon ist zu gebrauchen, aber die XP941 ist eine OEM, da gibt es keine FW Updates.

Grundsätzlich ist Magician nur für Retail SSD von Samsung, nicht für die OEM und Enterprise Versionen.

ASRock Z97 Extreme9 und HDD Saver

Ich werde in meinem System, demnächst unter anderem das Motherboard ASRock Z97 Extreme9 verbauen. Nun möchte ich gern den HDD Saver nutzen. Mit diesem kann man ja 2 Festplatten steuern. Ist es möglich, die Festplatten einzeln, oder kann man nur beide auf einmal an und abschalten?

Erreiche ich beim Extreme9 die volle Performance, wenn ich die X941 an den ULTRA Port hänge und eine GTX 980 im System verbauen möchte?
Hatte da mal was von teilen der lanes gelesen, kann es leider nicht mehr finden.

Die S. 115x CPUs haben nur 16 PCIe 3.0 Lanes, die werden irgendwie immer geteilt. Beim Extreme 6 fix auf x8 für die Graka und x4 für die XP941, beim Extreme 9 ist ein PCIe Lane Multiplexer verbaut, der die Aufteilung dynamisch macht und so hat man je nach aktueller Anforderung an die Lanes mal die gleiche x8 und x4 Aufteilung wie beim Extreme 6, wenn beide gerade Bandbreite brauchen und mal nur x16 für die Graka, wenn die XP941 gerade keine Bandbreite braucht.

Hey, ich brauche mal bitte Hilfe von Leuten, die sich wirklich auskennen. Ich habe folgendes Problem und hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen.

Ich habe zwei GTX 970 auf einem ASRock Z97 Extreme6 (mit i7-4790K) und möchte sie im SLI betreiben.
Eine MSI Gaming 4G (1.114/1.253 MHz) und eine EVGA SC ACX 2.0 (1.165/1.317 MHz).

Die Karten sitzen in den korrekten PCIe-Slots (2 und 4), werden beide erkannt (NVIDIA-Treiber 344.11, Gerätemanager, GPU-Z, MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision).
Ich habe bereits drei verschiedene SLI-Brücken an beiden Anschlüssen probiert.

Trotzdem kann ich sie NICHT zu einem SLI verbinden im Treiber.
Dort ist "3D Performance maximieren" ausgegraut und es ist "SLI deaktivieren" ausgewählt und lässt sich nicht verändern.

Ich könnte aber beide durchaus als PhysX-Karten zuweisen. Es scheint fast so, als würden dich sich nicht über die SLI-Brücke verbinden können, aber wie kann denn das sein?

Ich habe dann gedacht, dass vielleicht die Taktratendifferenz zu hoch sein könnte (auch wenn ich das zum ersten Mal hören würde) und habe mit MSI Afterburner die EVGA auf den Takt der MSI runtergesetzt (Boost unterscheidet sich aber laut GPU-Z noch, kann ich ja nix dran ändern) und beim Hochfahren anwenden lassen. Ändert nichts, SLI im NVIDIA-Treiber nicht möglich.

Im BIOS des ASRock Z97 Extreme6 gibt es keine Option zum Aktivieren/Deaktivieren von Multi-VGA (wüsste nicht, wo) und ich habe die PCIe-Ansprache manuell auf PCIe 3.0 gestellt.

Zusätzlicher 4-Pol-Stecker ist auch im Mainboard, ohne hat der Rechner mit zwei Karten gar nicht erst gestartet und ein animierter Bildschirm hat auf die Notwendigkeit hingewiesen (dachte immer, das sei nur optional und eigentlich auch bei zwei Karten noch nicht nötig, aber spielt hier ja keine Rolle).

Weiß jemand vielleicht noch Rat?

Es soll bei der 970 Serie Probleme geben wenn man 2 unterschiedliche Karten nutzt. Hab schon von 2 Usern gehört, dass sie es auch nicht zum Laufen bekommen haben.

Freunde, weiß einer von euch, wie man beim Extreme 6 das BIOS-Profil auf eine Disk speichern kann?

Es geht einfach nicht, bei jeder Disk, die ich anwähle, bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung, wenn ich auf "save" gehe.

Ich weiß aber, dass mir das schon mal gelungen war früher irgendwann. Vllt. war das aber noch mit einem früheren BIOS als 1.40.

Ah, interessant, es geht auch unter Windows, über das A-Tuning Utility.
Unter Tools -> OC DNA.

Da werden die drei Slots angeziegt, die man auch im BIOS hat. Und wenn man auf "Save" klickt, kann man die Einstellungen als bin-Datei abspeichern.
