Clevo Barebone - Upgrade & Modifikationen (alle Modelle)
Der Ausbau ist total easy. Dreh das Teil auf den Kopf und lös die Serviceklappe. Dann siehst du schon 2 Kühlkonstrukte. Das größere von beiden ist für die Grafikkarte. Alle Schrauben sind nummeriert und kannst du gemäß Reihenfolge entfernen. Dann sind noch 2 öh... Keine Ahnung wie die Dinger heißen jedenfalls löst du die auch und dann kannst du die Karte entnehmen. Ist ganz easy. Kein Backpulver nötig, ich such den Thread eben raus. Empfehlung: leg sie bei 120 Grad Umluft für ne Viertelstunde in den Ofen. Dann etwas abkühlen lassen und wieder verbauen. Hast du alle nötigen Materialien dafür? Du bräuchtest noch Wärmeleitpaste für die Aktion. Die kommt auf den Grafikchip, bevor du die Kühlung wieder montierst.
Leider hat mein Backofen keine Umluft. Also in dem Fall wohl Backdauer erhöhen? Oder Temeperatur?
Wärmeleitpaste müsste ich mal schauen, ob ich da noch was von habe. Sonst bleibt das erstmal alles auseinandergebaut, bis ich welche habe. Danke ;-)

Ich möchte von upgraden (p150hm). Die alte 6970m raus, gtx680m rein. Ich lese immer von bios flashen oder inf modifizieren. Hat mir jemand einen Link zu dem besagten Bios oder wi verstelle ich die inf? Wenn ich die graka hardware mäßig tausche kann es ja passieren das ich kein Bild bekomme. Wie soll ich denn dann flashen oder gar eine inf verändern?
Du musst den Blind-Flash machen. Passende Links hab ich dummerweise nicht parat, weil ich grad am Handy bin. Fütter Google mal mit "Blindflash 680m P170hm", alternativ P150hm. Zum 17"-zöller findest du idR mehr, die Vorgänge selbst sind aber identisch.
Wenn es eine Clevo-kompatible GTX680m ist, dann brauch man nix blindflashen. Das muss man nur bei der Kombination P150HM und Ati 7970m machen.
Die GTX680m sollte dann Plug-and-Play funktionieren, nur das man dann einen modifizierten Treiber brauch (.inf etc.). Dazu aber genug Infos bei Notebookreview (auch mit wenigen Englischkenntnissen gut verständlich)

Was dir zuerst schonmal auffallen sollte ist, dass die 660M in deinem Fall verlötet ist (Siehe Fotos aus deinem verlinkten Review) und du - ausgehend davon - ausschließlich durch die Backofenmethode oder ein richtiges Reballing Erfolge erzielen kannst.
Hehe unbelievable - aber mal wieder back to the roots.. Lüfter schon leicht gemoddet, neue WLP drauf.. gleichmal um einiges bessere Temperaturen bei der Büchse, so muss das.
Das einzige was mich etwas ankäst ist weiterhin die HotKey Geschichte mit der Lüftersteuerung, läuft irgendwie net sauber. Im "Unterhaltungsmodus" und unter Windows "Balanced" taktet das Viech die CPU lässig auf 100% nur weil ich ein paar Windows Updates installiere.. muss ja nicht, aber er will das so. Wenn du dann unter dem Hotkey einstellst mach einen auf "Energy Star", dann max. Takt @ 1,4 Ghz auf allen Cores und die Temps bleiben bei 42-44 Grad. Auf Akku war das phänomen nicht vorhanden.
Ansonsten tolle Performance von der 980M auch ohne OC läuft alles wunderbar und G-Sync ist zwar nett, hatte ja kurzfristig ein MSI GT72S, aber ein Feature was ich nicht unbedingt vermisse, dafür ist der AUO Screen echt super, einen einzigen Lichthof, der so klein ist das er nicht mal mit dunklem Schirm richtig auffällt.

da ich leider mit meinem problem alleine nicht weiterkomme, hoffe ich das mir hier jemand helfen kann.
Ich habe ein 170hm in dem ursprünglich eine 6970m karte war. (defekt)
Diese möchte ich nun gegen eine 7970m aus einem P370EM tauschen.
Ich habe mir nun schon einige anleitungen durchgelesen, aber bisher noch nicht erfolgreich umsetzen können.
Bei eingebauter karte startet es nicht, bzw. lämpchen leuchten ganz kurz auf.
Habe schon einen blind flash mit dem neuesten bios versucht (ausgebaute karte), schein aber nicht geklappt zu haben.
Schenker techsupport sagt mir nur "Leider kann ich Ihnen diesbezüglich nicht behilflich sein." und will mir eine gtx560m verkaufen.
Gibt es eine firma bei der ich das problem lösen lassen kann?
welche Revision hat deine 7970M? Sicher das sie aus einem p370em stammt?
Aktuell laufen meines Wissens nach weiterhin nur Revision 1.2 Karten im p1x0HM und auch nur Karten von Clevo/MSi, nicht von Alienware.
Den Blindflash hast du durchgeführt? Wie bist du vorgegangen? Es liest sich so als ob du die Karte dabei ausgebaut hattest?!
Hier mal ein Guide aus dem NBR; diesen habe ich damals bei meinem p170hm verwendet und es klappte. In einem Update hatte dann jaybee sogar eine autoexec geschrieben, damit sollte es ohne Probleme funktionieren.

Leider startet es mit karte nicht.
Daher wollte ich erst mal das bios auf den aktuellsten stand bringen. Vermute ohne erfolg, hab ja kein bild.
Karte stammt aus einem P370EM.
Und da haben wir denke ich schon das Problem: Die Karte ist Revision 1.1 - meines Wissens nach laufen im p1x0HM nur Karten mit Revision 1.2, sonst keine andere. Das siehst du auf dem zweiten Aufkleber von oben "AMD Wimbeldon V1.1 2G"
Die Karte muss für den Blindflash natürlich verbaut sein denn du flashed ohne Bild! Du siehst nichts, daher die Vorgehensweise mit der autoexec seitens des Users "jaybee" im verlinkten Thread.
