Desktop-PC am Zweitwohnsitz trotz Aufrüstung nicht wie vorgestellt! Hilfe?

Hallo,

ich habe an meinem Zweitwohnsitz einen etwas älteren PC, den ich vielleicht 10 Wochen im Jahr nutze.

Diesem habe ich diese Woche zusätzliche 8 GB RAM spendiert, der auch läuft und angezeigt wird.
Meine Erwartungen waren allerdings von diese Investition höher. :-) Ich weiß nicht woran es liegt, aber irgendwie denke ich immer er ist leistungstechnisch irgendwie am Ende. Obwohl eigentlich nur Firefox mit 60 Tabs geöffnet ist. Ich höre permanent die Festplatte rattern. Diese wird aber in den kommenden Tagen wohl sowieso einer SSD weichen!

Ich wollte jetzt mal im Bios von meinen verfügbaren 12 GB, ein wenig mehr der Grafikkarte zusteuern. Allerdings finde ich den Eintrag im Bios nicht. Selbst nach mehrmaligem durchforsten des Bios Menüs und Googeln bin ich noch nicht zum Ziel gekommen.
Einziges was ich im Internet gefunden habe ist das die OnBoard Grafik wohl mit „Cleartype“ Probleme hat.

Gerne würde ich von euch Hilfestellung erhalten was den wohl noch gemacht werden kann? Bzw. was den die Ursache ist? Vielleicht weiß auch einer wie man der ATI RADEON HD 3200 mehr Ram-Speicher zuweist?

Wie hoch ist die Speicherbelegung(physikalischer Speicher) im Taskmanager?

FF mit 60 Tabs? Werden die alle Sofort oder erst beim umschalten geladen?(kann man einstellen)

Es ist ein Windows 7 - 64 Bit System.
Speicher_PHY.JPG meinst du das?

Also die FF Tabs werden nach einem Neustart erst nach umschalten geladen.

scheint alles ein bisschen schwierig bei dir zu sein, da es unterschiedliche angaben gibt.
ADIA gibts beispielsweise nur 4GB RAM an und Windows möchte auch nur 8GB von den 12GB nutzen.

dann ein Tip von mir: mache aus den ganzen Tabs mal Lesezeichen, das kann auch helfen, wenn man sie nicht immer braucht. (man kann Seiten auch nacheinander ansurfen)

edit:
grad gesehen, dass deine CPU im IDLE? schon bei fast 50% Auslastung ist. müsstest du vielleicht das System einfach mal aufräumen? wenn eine SSD geplant ist auf Linux umsteigen (FF auch da vorhanden, Office ist da auch verständlich und kann mit Windowsofficedateien umgehen).

Onboard Grafikkarte ist zu alt, dadurch gibt es keine Hardwarebeschleunigung bei neueren Webseiten und die CPU muss alles berechnen -> PC wird langsam.

Die Grafikkarte durch eine aktuelle einsteigerkarte ersetzen sollte abhilfe schaffen. Für Office und ein wenig Internet sollte selbst der Athlon noch ausreichen sein.

Oder halt einen aktuellen Prozessor mit iGPU holen und passendem DDR3 bzw 4 speicher.

Wann wurde das Windows zuletzt neu installiert? Bei intensiver Nutzung sollte man das alle paar Jahre machen, sonst wirds auch auf der schnellsten Hardware irgendwann langsam...
 
also als ich vor einigen wochen noch einem phenom X4 hatte, merkte ich schon ausbremsen des system's wenn auch nur 10 tabs beim firefox auf waren. mehrere offene tab's 'fressen' RAM und festplattenplatz, was heisst das viel zugriffe erfolgen und das sstem stark beschäftigt wird. wozu hat man eigentlich 60 tabs offen? hast du da noch überblick?
das mit dem 'system-bremsen' ist bei meiner frau ihrem rechner, mit ähnlicher cpu wie du sie hast übrigens auch deutlich spürbar, schon bei ca 10 tabs.
ich würde die tabs einfach mal aufräumen, ich kann mir nicht vorstellen das man soviele gleichzeitig offen halten muss, um sich internetseiten usw anzusehen :-)
man kann beliebte seiten ja auch als lesezeichen ablegen und dann laden wenn man sie mal ansehem will......

1. Zum Grafikchip - die Grafik kann sich maximal 2GB RAM holen. Und bei DDR2 ist der nicht gerade schnell.

2. Der Grafikchip ist ist jetzt nicht der schlechteste: ATI / AMD Radeon HD 3200 - Notebookcheck.com Technik/FAQ H264 & Co. sind kein Probelm für den.

Zur Lösung:
Du solltest darauf achten, dass die aktuellsten Treiber von AMD installiert sind:

Für den Grafikchip: Legacy

Und den größten Geschwindigkeitsschub verspürst du mit einer SSD. Das Aufrüsten des RAMs in dem System über 4GB RAM hat nichts gebracht. Der PC ist eher ein "Office-PC" und da sind mehr als 4GB RAM nutzlos. Aber drin ist drin.

Ich kann jetzt nur von mir sprechen, aber wenn ich was lese, und es werden weiterführende Links im Text genannt, hangle ich mich oft Baumförmig von Seite zu Seite weiter und schließe dann die einzelnen Äste, wenn es keinen weiterführenden Link mehr gibt. Da könnten kurzzeitig schon mal -zig Tabs offen sein. Muss ja nicht bei jedem so sein, aber alle Tabs extra als Lesezeichen zu speichern und dann wieder aufzurufen, würde den Arbeitsfluss schon stören.

Ich habe gerade zig Sachen am laufen:

-Handyreparatur
-Dachboden aufräumen und Sachen verkaufen
-Dann das Problem mit dem PC
-Ausschau nach Urlaubsschnäppchen
-Auto An und Verkauf
-Bewerbungen

usw.

Den Arbeitsfluss würde es aufejdenfall stören. Manche Tabs kann man aber auch theoretisch als Lesezeichen speichern, was bei mir allerdings nicht so auf dem Schirm ist.

PS: Hab jetzt bei aufräumen auf dem Dachboden eine "Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT", die hat 512 MB, wäre die passend?

7950GT - ach herrje. Die ist aus 2006. Nicht zu gebrauchen. Die weiß noch nicht'mal, was BluRay ist, die kam erst 2007. Von H264 ganz zu schweigen.

Die gab es übrigens auch für AGP, muss man also aufpassen. Jedenfalls gehört die ins Museum oder in einen Retro-Rechner. Als AGP-Variante war die heiß begehrt.
