Festplatte kaputt?

Hallo Leute,
hab bei meiner zwei Monate alten HDD letztens beim Start von Linux die Info erhalten, das die Platte Fehler enthalte und ich doch bitte eine Sicherung der Daten vornehmen möge. An sich startet die Platte nochso wie sie soll, der Kurztest über "GSmartcontrol" liefert keine Fehler, beim Langzeittest bricht der Test nach 10 % ab. Hier das logfile:

Soll ich die Festplatte einschicken lassen und eine Garantieforderung rausschicken an den Verkäufer?
Und ist das normal, dass überall old-age und prefailure steht, obwohl ich die Platte gerade erst gekauft habe?

Da brennt man die HGST Drive Fitness Test CD und bootet von Ihr und testet die Platte mit dem Tool!

Wegen ner RMA muß man sich da schon an WD wenden, die Hitachi Festplattenabteilung gehört schon lange WD...
