IMPORTANT
- Before installing, please make sure the motherboard BIOS is updated to the latest version.
- Before installing the software, please extract the ZIP file contents to a known location. If you are using Windows built-in zip utility or having trouble with the installation process, please right click on the ZIP file, click "Properties", and then check "Unblock" (example screenshot).
- When installing, if the installer isn't working properly for you, please right click on the installer EXE file and choose to "Run as Administrator".
- On some Z370 and ASUS X99 motherboards, enabling "SPD Write" in BIOS is required: PDF Guide.
- This software may conflict with other LED lighting control software (such as ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Command Center/Mystic Light, NZXT CAM, etc.). Please do not install multiple software at the same time, or the software may not work as intended. We are working to improve compatibility between the different software programs.

G.SKILL schrieb:Would you mind listing your motherboard model, BIOS version, memory model number, and Windows version (e.g. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, English US) for us? We'll see if there's anything we missed that'll cause the sticks to get stuck.

Variante 2: "Clean Uninstall" Uninstall Guide (PDF)G.SKILL schrieb:For those of your who installed the beta software, and some modules aren't lighting up any more or stuck in a certain color/effect, please shut down the system (no sleep or hibernation) and then cut the power to the power supply (either by the IO switch in the back, or disconnect the power cord altogether). Wait until the motherboard lights go out, because there are some motherboards that can retain power for quite some time after the power is cut. Then wait for an additional 30 seconds.
This should clear out the lighting settings on the modules. At the moment, it seems like this issue stems from issuing commands to incorrect addresses. So we are asking to update your BIOS to the latest version, and then reinstall the software. Make sure to reboot between install and uninstalls.
Code:
1. Uninstall the Trident Z RGB Lighting Control software in Windows
2. Open “Services” in Windows. To do this, please go to “Run…” (WinKey + R) and type “services.msc”.
Then make sure that “AsRogAuraService” and “asComSvc” are “Stopped”.
If they are running, please right click on choose “Stop”. If they aren’t listed, then go on to the next step.
3. Make sure the following folders are deleted:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS
C:\Program Files (x86)\G.SKILL International Enterprise
4. Shut down the system.
5. Cut the power to the system, by disconnecting the power cord or flipping the I/O switch on the power supply, for about two minutes.
Make sure that the motherboard lighting is turned off for about 30 seconds before turning the power on again.
Some motherboards are able to retain power for quite a while, so an additional 30 seconds is just a precaution.
(Any longer than 3 minutes is not necessary to clear out the settings on the modules.)
6. Turn the system back on, and the memory modules should be displaying the default rainbow wave lighting.
