Da die 8800er serie eine Neuauflage erfahren hat, habe ich einen neuen OC-Thread für diese Karten aufgemacht. Hier könnt ihr über das OC allgemein, über Probleme fachsimpeln und eure Erfolge/Ergebnisse posten, die dann von mir in den entsprechenden Listen eingetragen werden! Für die "kleine" GT, die bei steigendem Angebot ein echter Preisknaller wird, verwendet ihr bitte den schon vorhandenen Thread!

Mach hier doch einfach den "Geforce 8800 GTS (512/1024MB) OC-Thread + Liste" draus, die GT ist doch sowieso außen vor. :-)

Wir sehen uns, wenn ich auch eine GTS 512MB habe.

Hab mit nem Kumpel mal seine 8800GTS G92 ein bisl übertaktet und bin doch ein wenig entäuscht :shake: Bei 750MHZ GPU Takt kommt es bei Crysis zu freezes und bei ~1050 RAM Takt ist auch schon schluss. Ab ca. 1075 bekommt man Bildfehler. Momentan lass ich ihn bei 730 GPU Takt laufen. Das scheint bisher stabil zu sein. Temps unter 85C.

EDIT
730 ist auch nicht stabil, bei UT3 flackert teilweise die Geometry

Ab ca. 1075 bekommt man Bildfehler. Momentan lass ich ihn bei 730 GPU Takt laufen. Das scheint bisher stabil zu sein. Temps unter 85C.

Sell mal den lüfter auf 55% konstant! Dann klappt das auch.

Ich hatte bis jetzt noch keine neue GTS (kommt bald), aber meine wird übertaktet ~75C warm! Stell einfach den Lüfter höher, denn je kühler, umso besser!

Was hast Du für ein Betriebssystem? Ich hab einen identischen Prozessor (auch auf 3200), eine höher übertaktete GTS und Du hast 1500 Punkte mehr als ich im 3DMark????
 
Also ich würde meine Karte auch gerne übertakten, aber leider will es weder mit Rivatuner noch mit dem ATITool klappen. Die Optionen für die Erhöhung der MHz sind einfach nicht da oder inaktiv.
Ich habe Windows Vista und den neusten Beta-Treiber drauf. Auch wenn ich Vista starte und die Treibersignatur deaktiviere klappt es nicth. Hat mal jemand noch einen Tipp für mich?

@matze, bei den 16303 lief er mit 3,6ghz, aber mein speicher war ja auch schneller, ich werde auch nochmal die 800 knacken glaub ich, die karte ist im everest,was man zwischendurch ja mal erhaschen kann wenn das bild wechselt,nie über 61 grad bisher, denke das geht noch was :d

Super danke! Jetzt klappt es endlich. Hoffe das die Tage meine restlichen Teile für meine neue Wakü kommen und dann wird etwas weiter getestet. Aktuell bin ich bei 756/1053.
Fertige Ergebnisse dann die Tage, wenn auch der Aquagratix drauf ist und ich mir um die Temps keine Sorgen mehr machen brauch.
