Im from Holland but my German is not that good sorry.

Are there people using this Aquacomputer ULTITOP DUAL D5 in their pc rig?

If so, is it good and what about the NOISE = it silent? And how is the vibration and flow??

Hey there, I'm not using the dual top but if noise / vibration is a priority for you (but price/budget is not ) , you might want to invest rather into this one: https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?products_id=4101

It's significantly heavier due to the metal components which makes this probably the best solution you can get. I'm using the single version of it and it's perfectly silent.

I already have the dual top just waiting when RTX4080 and Alder Lake cpu comes out.
But if people do not like the dual top from AC i might get a different one. The metal top is WAY to expensive for me.

brass metal is priced significant higher than acetal. All metal dual D5 tops (Alphacool, Iceman, Aquacomputer) are priced around 150€.

If you really "just" want a good acetal dual D5 top, I would recommend the Watercool part. The anti-vibration system is better.

True to that its just i already own the AC DUAL Ultitop acetal so its a waste of money if i wouldnt use it....UNLESS its a bad design then im forced to buy a new one.
I just wonder if people using it the ULTITOP DUAL D5 acetal and not the brass one but do chime in if you do own the brass one.

A German made D5 top i was hoping more people here would use the top. I have AC AMS rads gonna get their cpu and gpu block for the coming RTX4000 and Ryzen 7000 or Raptor Lake cpu's.

So it's not that quiet? Is it that loud even with shoggy sandwich? That is not normal when you have to use shoggy sandwich. My EKWB CSQ original D5 top is VERY quiet i can not hear it at all. This is not good...

Ja, Leute können ihre Meinung zum ULTITOP auf Deutsch schreiben, wie gut es ist und ob es leise ist usw. Ich kann die Nachricht ins Englische übersetzen, wenn ich muss, aber ich bevorzuge Englisch.

Ob eine Pumpe laut ist oder nicht, hängt auch von der Geschwindigkeit ab, mit der sie sich dreht. Ich würde also sagen dass der Vergleich des Rauschens von zwei Pumpen nur dann sinnvoll ist, wenn auch angegeben wird, wie schnell sie gedreht werden. Vielleicht lässt Albundyi06 seine Pumpe sehr schnell laufen, während Du Sniper, sie ziemlich langsam laufen lässt.

Whether a pump is noisy or not, also depends on the speed at which it rotates. In my view, comparing the noise of two pumps makes sense only if we also know how quickly they are rotated. Maybe Albundyi06 runs his pump very quickly, while you Sniper, run it rather slowly.

Jo, so habe ich das auch verbastelt. (Ultitop Mirror Black D5 2 Stück hintereinander)
Der Dual Mirror reitzt ungemein. Ist schon sexy.
Da die 2X D5 30 cm vor meiner Nase werkeln, sofort die Messing Ultitop geordert und derzeit kleinstmöglich 89,7 l/h (sehr leise)
Auf Vollgas über 250...ist nichtmal so laut wie man glaubt. Braucht halt niemand ^^ Ist aber prima zum entlüften.
Ist eigentlich schon passabler Kreislauf von Größe her. Performance ist jedenfalls 1A mit 2X D5.(+1D5 Heatkiller)

Just out of curiosity; What kind of restrictive loop are you planing? My single D5 is more than capable of pumping 125 l/h through my aquaero, flow sensor, cpu and gpu, couple of quick connectors, an inline filter, a mora and a 560. And it does not even run at full speed.

I used the messing version of your top for a while but went back to a single D5 setup because there is simply no gain in having 200+ liters per hour instead of "only" 120-150. Noise wise the messing top was quite good but I always use a shoggy sandwich out of habbit.

Ich schrieb ja, auf volle Pulle 250l/h braucht niemand. Nett wenn es geht.
Und meine Kiste (Open Stand/Mining Rig) sitzt kaum 30cm vor meiner Nase....daher 2 Pumpen auf kleinstmöglichen Wert.
(um 80 l/h) und hat die Möglichkeit in Aquasuite anständige Kurve zu erstellen.
Ich hatte halt 2 EVO 1800 übrig (voll bestückt)m dann kann man die ja auch benutzen.
Steht ja alles im Profil.

True to that statement, my current EKWB CSQ D5 top running at speed 3 (1 to 5) and it is very silent i do sense that the brass version is better when it comes down to quiet operation but spending an additional 175 euro is to much i already have the Ultitop Dual D5 top not used yet waiting on RTX4080 and Raptor Lake cpu.

Wie erwartet, ist die Metallversion von Ultitop einfach leistungsstärker und leiser als die reguläre Ultitop dual D5. Was kühlen Sie mit Ihrem Setup, da es einen Unterschied in der Durchflussrate gibt, wenn Sie die Pumpe mit niedriger und hoher Geschwindigkeit betreiben?

Müsste ich nachschauen. Wenn ich so aus Spaß was höher drehe, schaue ich, dass die selbe Drehzahl haben.
Ich glaube mal beobachtet zu haben, dass die 2, Pumpe dann was höher dreht, machen Lüfter glaube ich auch.
....wenn man gleiche stapelt.

Planning to use the Dual D5 top with:

1x CPU and 1x GPU (RTX4080 = 320watt - 400watt + high end Ryzen 7000 cpu OR Raptor Lake cpu 170watt so lots of heat)
2 x aquacomputer airplex modularity system 840 radiators with 500 or 600 rpm fans
2 pairs of Koolance QDC4

I will stack the AMS 840 radiators next to each other working as one unit i do know the restriction of the AMS rads is pretty high as high as a regular cpu block and i need a minimum of of 0.5GPM thats around 125l/h so similar to your setup. My current rig only uses a single D5 and cpu + cpu block and ONE AMS 840 rad getting around 1gpm.
This is why i will go with a dual D5 but i want it to run it as silent as possible. I feel like i made a wrong purchase with the normal Ultitop Dual D5 top i should have bought the Ultitop Brass version.
