OCCT Perestroika - CPU stability testing program - Looking for German Translators

Hey guys,

Sorry for writing this message in english, but i don't speak German. Well, i used to, but it's all gone now... amazing how fast you forget things.

I'm OCCT's programmer, and i'm happy to see it spreading this far Feel free to send me any comments you may have, on this thread or by mail ( iench at ocbase dot com ).

I don't know if it's against the forum rules or not ( as i can't understand them ! ) but i'm looking for help in translating OCCT. As you have noticed, OCCT perestroika can be translated in any language... but for that, i need somebody with an hour or so to do the actual translation

I'm currently missing the German language. So if any of you could afford to loose an hour or so to translate OCCT, it would be great

All you need is to download a small opensource software to translate OCCT. You can test your translation right on the spot, without any help from me or anybody else And once you're happy, you just send me a mail with a small file (3KB), and that's it, done

There are about 50 strings to translate, most of them being single words - i'm sure any of you can translate it

Yep, in the "locale" subdir

Just get poEdit ( www.poedit.org ) and translate the default.po file.

You can see an existing translation by checking the "FR" directory. It has a french.po file you can open to see how things work.

Once you're happy with your translation, just save the default.po file. You'll see a default.mo file appearing in the same directory. Replace the file in the "FR\LC_MESSAGES" by this default.mo, start OCCT, and choose the french language : you'll see your translation in action

Once you're happy with it, just send the translation by mail ( iench 'at' ocbase 'dot' com ).
