Subnotebook für musiker

hallo suche eine subnotebook was ich benutzen kann für musik (Live und co)


soll schon eine modernes gerät sein und leistung haben...es soll primär:

-Cubase oder Reason laufen.. und mind 1GB ram haben

preislich nicht max 2000 euro übersteigen (+/- 500 geht noch)

also für den preis bekommst du schon "geile" teile. is nur die frage ob du wirklich soviel ausgeben musst. aber das weißt du sicherlich selbst.

was brauchsten Akkulaufzeit? oder Desktopersatz?

Display? 17"? oder 15,4"? Widescreen oder normal?

gute graka? Gewicht?


also das einzige was du dir als musiker auf jedenfall kaufen solltest wäre das externe Audigy 2 teil (name grad entfallen). weil kaum ein notebook wohl ne gute soundkarte drinen hat.

I have no idea about soundcards in subnotebooks (just remember that a good quality of the sound card was mentioned in a review of a recent Sony subnotebook).

You don't need to buy modern Sonoma based laptops. One of the possible solutions for you could be a built on order notebook with integrated video which you configure to have a good processor, like 2Ghz, 1-2GB of RAM, and 100-120GB/5400rpm or 7200rpm hard disc (I guess, huge hard disc is also your priority). Nexoc Osiris S602 is a cost effective example of such a 12" subnotebook (see a thread about Cebob Mex 100 or about Nexoc Osiris S602). Note that this subnotebook seems to behaive better in benchmarks than the equally equipped IBM's which you might consider as an alternative, and the processor performance is your priority, isn't it?

Wenn ich sowas lese, habe ich manchmal das Gefühl, dass ich arm bin.
Nun, du brauchst einfach ein Notebook mit guter Leistung. Davon gibt es eigentlich viele. Dafür muss man auch keine 2500 Euro und mehr ausgeben. Wenn du das Geld hast, dann gerne, aber bedenke, dass die Teile viel schneller an Wert verlieren als Geräte für 1300 Euro. Mir wäre das Geld zu Schade, da das Gerät evtl ein bischen leiser ist und eine höhere Akkulaufzeit hat. Für Musikhören braucht man das eigentlich nicht
Wie gesagt, würde ich eher so ein Gerät in der Preisklasse von maximal 1500 Euro empfehlen.

ansonsten soll das MSI S260 sehr gut sein. Leider weiß ich nun nicht, wo man das günstig kaufen kann.

You told that you want well performing processor. Q30 has only ULV 1.1 or 1.2 GHz. Besides, is it not too expensive for you? If you want it, a cheaper Dell Latitude X1 is made on a license from Samsung as a copy of Q30 (but it has worse design, worse display quality, but better and faster system logic/video).

Besides, what are your requirement about the optical drive. Do you want it integrated or external as in Q30/X1? I thouhgt that if you are going to use CDs often, the integrated optical drive is one of your priorities.

If, however, the processor power is actually not so important for you then Apple 12" Powerbook could be a subject of your consideration, depending on the kind of software you are going to use.

You know, I like MSI more than Nexoc, but in this special case I think Nexoc is better for the guy because
he doesn't need to overpay for newer sonoma components which he doesn't need, and the loudspeakers of Nexoc Osiris S602
are better than those of MSI S620 subnotebook, though most likely both are terrible for a musician, so that he will have to use headphones anyway.

ich weiß. nur gefällt mir das nexoc. sagen wir so, mir kann einfach nichts besseres gefallen, wenn ich es nicht gesehen habe oder einfach damit gearbeitet habe
er möchte eine extra soundkarte, wahrscheinlich über pmcia, anschließen. daher fallen wohl eh die lautsprecher des notebooks flach. und ein dj nimmt meistens eher bessere und größere lautsprecher für eine party

Für die Preisvorstellung von dir hat hier wohl kaum einer ne wirklich ahnung.

such ein Book mit Pentium 770, 1-2GB DDR2, 100GB HDD, X700 128 (reicht völlig und kannst auch mehr mit machen), WSXGA+ 1920bla, das wär mein vorschlag. achte auf firewire etc. brauchst sicherlich externe anschlüsse für externe hdd's wenn du musik machst. weil 100gb schnell ausgeschöpft sein können mit wav dateien =)

da findest du bei ASUS, DELL, ACER etc. überall was. dann zahlste im endeffekt max. 2000€ schätz ich.

mehr geht kaum noch außer eventl. ne mega Graka. aber die brauchste ja nicht.

Lasst everest doch mal Zeit zum Antworten, vielleicht ist mein Vorschlag ja akzeptabel für ihn. So wird jetzt eh nur rumgeraten und das hilft ihm auch nicht weiter.

ich selber kenn mich mit notebooks nicht so dolle aus,hab gehört das diese subnotebooks teuer sind...so um die 2500 euro

da ich das notebook bei kl. jam session brauch oder bei kl. liveauftritten soll es leistung haben,wo ich keine leistung brauch ist die graka,und die soundkarte,da ich eine karte hab

hmm, ich denke, dass wir dir schon ein paar genannt haben. mehr als 1500 würde ich für deinen zweck nicht ausgeben.
ich weiß aber nur nicht, was du unter leistung verstehst. für ein paar musikdateien reichen auch die pentium m mit 1,0ghz.

@boidsen: I don't see a single reason why he should prefer 10" FS to a cooler 12" Samsung Q30 or Dell X1,
in case he decides that the power of 1.1GHz ULV processsor is enough for him.

I agree with Halema and Bierchen than MSI S260 is a better choice for you than Osiris S602, the magnesium case (not the sonoma components, in your case) being the main advantage.

Entweder ein Mac Powerbook, wenn sowas überhaupt in Frage kommt oder das MSI S260. Ich habe mir das MSI mal angeschaut, das ist echt ein sehr edles Teil und hat auch gut Power. Das wären meine Tipps, was meinst du Everest?
