auch wenn der thread schon etwas älter ist ich hätte auch nochmal ne frage dazu

kann man mit der ultimate boot cd auch direkt in den "DOS" Modus gehen? ich bräuchte nur cd-rom treiber und zugriff auf die partitionen mit ntfs dateisystem. ich hatte gedacht das ich nächstemal, wenn ich windows frisch installiert habe und alle wichtigen treiber eingespielt habe einfach stumpf die ganze partition die allerhöchstens 2,5gb groß ist auf dvd brenne und wenn der rechner dann abstürzt von dos aus per copy befehl alles wieder auf die partition zurückspiele nachdem ich sie formatiert habe. das zurückkopieren dauert ja nur wenige minuten, das installieren und neu konfigurieren von windows braucht erheblich länger, geht das?

naja erstens kommst du mit der win xp cd auf die partionen, musst dich zwar anmelden unter der wiederherstellungskonsole aber danach ist es wie dos nur mit einigen befahlen mehr.

zweitens bringt es dir nix wenn du die partion kopierst und brennst weil die dateistrucktur und einige systemdateien nicht mitkopiert werden.

dafür gibt es image programme a la power quest drive image.

Schade, bei der neuen 3.1er funktioniert das IBM/Hitachi Tool bei mir nicht (DFT 4.0). Kommt immer Fehlermeldung beim Starten.

USB detection now defaults to no to avoid locking up incompatible machines.
There is now an UBCD.BAT in A:\Bin that holds the batch-file for UBCD handling. The displayed text is in UBCD.TXT in A:\Etc. This way it is now possible for the end-user to re-enter the menu by running UBCD from the prompt.

Fdmsrrc now contains the freeware Client version of Remote Recover. Just install the freeware (limited to read-only) or buyware Server version and you are able to mount remote drives (FAT/FAT32/NTFS) with Remote Recover (RRC). Next to that you will still be able to use this image to connect to Microsoft Shares or to create Microsoft Shares to be accessed from other machines. It carries 30 drivers now. Whatever you choose in the MsNet-dialog, you can always lauch RRC additionally (just type "rrc").

I find it almost inexcusable that XOSL is not included in the UBCD distribution! ;-) It's my personal favourite boot manager, unbeaten in visual appearance and user-friendliness. Suddenly it's a dead project, but their last release still works great. It requires a FAT partition to install, but the setup/restore tool is a big plus (makes it easy to recover the boot manager without reinstallation whenever Windows setup wiped the MBR).

The 1.1.5 version reincludes SmartBootManager and Ranish, but I don't think that hurts anyone, even if these tools should already have five dups on the UniversalBootCD.

Lad mir gerade Version 3.3 runter. Will damit den Rechner von ein Freund testen weil der Probleme hat mit der Stabilität. Also CPU, Ram und Hdd testen.
Wie funktioniert die CD? CD rein und von CD booten ?
Hilft mir ein bissel.

Mach ich . Wenn Du mir erklärst wie das geht: Wie gesagt. Hab da keine Ahnung von. Drücke nur Knöpfchen beim Brennen mit meinem Program . alles automatisch. Aber ne BootCD hab ich noch nie gemacht.

Hab bei Nero schon mal Boot CD eingestellt in dem Nero Express. Hat auch fleißig gebrannt und dann auch von CD gebootet.
Zeigte mir dann dieses Caldera_DOS an. Aber kein UBCD Menü. Konnte auch nicht wirklich irgend eine EXE finden die das Menü startet.
Kannst Du mir erklären was ich falsch mache ud wie es richtig geht?

beim normalen nero (kannst du dein nero evtl. umstellen von express auf normal?) geht man in der menüleiste auf REKORDER -> IMAGE BRENNEN und dann wählt man die UBCD-datei (entpackt ists eine .ISO-datei) aus. dann nur noch cd-r einlegen und brennen!

danach von cd booten und das UBCD-menü sollte erscheinen

hallo habe ein problem mit ultimate boot cd 4.1.1
booten klappt einwandfrei nur kein programm funzt es kommt diese fehlermeldung :

habe die cd 2x mal gebrannt und an 3 verschiedenen Rechnern ausbrobiert und immer das gleiche Problem kann mir einer helfen ???? benutze das brennprogramm deep bunrer pro (iso brennen).
