Welches 12" Notebook ???

Ich habe vor mir evtl. nach meinem 18 Geburtstag ein Sub-Notebook zu kaufen. Wäre bereit €1300,- auszugeben. Welches könnt ihr mir da empfehlen ???

Soll Hauptsächlich für die Schule (Office) verwendet werden, muss also kein Grafikmonster sein. Das einzigste was drauf laufen sollte evtl. wäre Counterstrike.

Also welches würdet ihr in der Preisklasse nehmen ??? €1300,- ist mein absolutes Limit, drüber geht garnix - drunter wäre natürlich besser.

Wäre schon wenn ihr mir vorallem sagen könntet ob Centrino oder Turion.

Cebop MEX 100..WAS SONST

Im 12" Bereich bis 1300 Euro ist das Cebop MEX 100 die erste Wahl.
Hab es selber seit Monaten und muss sagen....EXCELENT. Finde einfach nix das ich daran aussetzen könnte.
Auch ältere Games laufen ok, aber es ist definitiv kein Zocker-Notebook.

Super Leistung, leiser Lüfter (durch Speedstep, bei voller Leistung doch etwas laut..), SUPER Display 1280X800, Akku hält ca. 3Std.

Laut Test von Chip kam das Teil auf Platz 4. Plätze 1-3 belegten doppelt bis dreifach so teure Kandidaten. Bei der Leistung war das Cebop als einziges bei 100 Punkten.

Prüfe aber unbedingt auf Pixelfehler! Ich hab keine einzigen.

Auf jeden Fall Centrino

Vergiss AMD im Notebook Bereich! Pentium M bzw. das Centrino Paket ist ein MUSS, wenn dir Akkulaufzeit, Geräuschentwicklung Stabilität und Leistung wichtig sind.

Beim Cebop kann ich aber auf meine monatelange Arbeit an dem Notebook verweisen. Hat mich bisher noch nie im Stich gelassen, und alles funktionierte auf Anhieb. Auch Linux läuft optimal darauf.
Und ich nutze das Notebook täglich 8 Stunden!!!

lucky you are if your fan is silent! Which processor do you have on board?
In my case the fan is too noisy and whining, and goes on too often, as
I have described in the thread devoted to Nexoc Osiris S602 (a clone of yours
Cebop Mex 100 , uniwill 223ii0 etc). In seem that the magnesium composite case of MSI S260 ensures a better heat exchange with the environment and less fan activitiy as a result. Besides, in my notebook HDD and the processor are sitting nearby, so they heat each other. In MSI 260 they are situated in different parts of the notebook.
This is also better for internal heat engineering. Thant is why I believe that MSI S602 is better than our notebooks (based on uniwill 223ii0). Though, my knowledge is purely "theoretical", I don't have MSI 260 myself.

Ich hab eigentlich nicht das Cebop MEX 100, sondern das Lynx Create Ultraportable. Ist aber das selbe, wie wir beide wissen.
Ich habe den Pentium M mit 1,7Ghz. WLAN interne, 80GB Platte, 512MB RAM, Dual DVD Brenner Multiformat.

Der Lüfter ist bei mir echt zu 90% aus. Ich mache aber auch nichts besonders rechenintensives. Surfen, Office, mal nen Film guggen.
Hab auch Centrino Hardware Control installiert und das Notebook ist meist bei 600mhz runtergetaktet. Aber klar, bei voller Leistung röhrt es wie ein Föhn. Doch wer braucht schon ständig die volle Leistung?
Im BIOS hab ich den "Super Performance Mode" oder wie das heisst deaktiviert, da ich eine Übertaktung nicht brauche.
Ist halt auch immer ne Glückssache denke ich. Vielleicht hast du ja ein "Montagsgerät". Ich hab weder Pixelfehler noch sonst was.


Abgesehen davon ist es für mich optimal und superstabil. Hab einfach keine Probleme damit, alles funktioniert und macht keine Mucken. Mehr erwarte ich nicht von einem Computer.

Ob ein Notebook oder beliebiges anderes Gerät für DICH ok ist, merkt man erst wenn man es hat und eine Weile benutzt. Das ist immer Glückssache, wenn die Erwartungen nicht enttäuscht werden.
Egal, wie Testberichte und Foren-Meinungen dazu ausfallen.

Great to hear that someone is so happy with this model. Yes, I have read many positive opinions!

In my case, in office applications, it is relatively quite during the first hour.
However, even when I launch some processor intensive application, like a new brouser, the fan goes on for short time at low speed. I use rmclock to improve it, but still it annoying enough.

After the first hour of work, when the notebook is already warm, the fan goes on at high speed every 12-15 muinutes for apprx. 3-5 minutes. What about you?

I also have a discomfort feeling that the laptop is somehow not well built and somehow can be damaged easily - it is just a subjective feeling which is mainly due to the very thin plastic protecting the display from befind.

The keyboard I received originalyl was terrible. It was replaced after my complain, but a new one was not fixed carefulyl enough. I see were the defect it but I cannot improve it myself without voiding the warranty. So, my general impression about the quality of NEXOC assembling job is not positive. Two dead pixels just add to my nuisance.

Besides, frankly speaking, 2.1kg of weight is a bit too much for an ultra-portable model. It is especially ugly, because NEXOC and others are putting the weights as 1.7kg, thus misleading the customers. I learned about the real weight only after I explicitly asked my reseller.

Yes, I read it in March!

However, that time there was no rmclock for sanoma available yet. It improves the thermal issues. Moreover, if you read the thread about MSI S260 at notebook-foren.de, you will see that (the superior heat engineering of) this model in principle allows to do normal office jobs even without the fan (see earlier posts by Abgar). The temperatures reported without the fan were quite save. In my case of Osiris S602, the temperatures were much worse. For this reason I belive that MSI S260 might be a better choice.

Bin jetzt wieder seit 2 Std. online, und das Notebook ist quiet. Ich glaube du hattest einfach Pech mit deinem Teil (?)


Das Fujitsu-Siemens P7010 das ich demnächst von der Firma kriege wiegt nur 1.3kg.
Das Akku soll angeblich 6 Std laufen. Bin mal gespannt ob es mich noch mehr begeistert als das Lynx Ultraportable. Dafür kostet es aber auch über 2000 Euro!

Yes, the performance per price of this model is great. If one has a little bit of good luck as you, one can be quity happy with it.

BTW, there are two interesting (lighter!) alternatives (without internal optical drive):

1. BENQ Joybook 6000
2. Acer Travelmate 3000

Both seems to be not easy to get in Germany (the former one is available in Austria for good price, the latter costs >1600 Euro in Germany - too much, if you compare it with $1300 in the US, but quite good in competition with ASUS 12" models).

weil ich wußte, dass das gerät bei aldi baugleich mit dem msi s260 ist habe ich es mir vor einigen tagen geholt. für nur 899EUR. die haben bei aldi anscheinend immer noch welche davon, also wenn du ein paar euro sparen willst und noch auf zusätzliche ausstattung (siehe hier:http://www.notebook-foren.de/board/showthread.php?t=1947 dvbt etc) stehst schlag zu.
ich habe jetzt vor zwei tagen das silberne medion gerät im direkten vergleich zum weißen "original" msi gerät gesehen und muss sagen, dass mir das silber bei "meinem" besser gefällt. hat was von meinem alten powerbook

das hier ein programmierfehler im bios von msi vorliegt. der lüfter schaltet sich halt schon bei 40°C an, was er bei anderen nb erst ab ca. 60°C macht. msi arbeitet aber an diesem "problem". anyway meist ist das nb (dank chc) doch unter 40°C, vondaher auch kein lüfter

Für den Preis ist es wirklich klasse. Wie schützt du eigentlich dein Display? - Ich habe seit 2 Monaten ein S260 und es ist immer wieder ärgerlich, dass nach jedem Zuklappen die Tastatur Abdrücke hinterlässt (Habe das beigelegte Fließ leider nichtmehr.) Außerdem hat das Display schon den ein oder anderen kleinen Kratzer, den man bei Sonnenlicht sieht.

Da hast du Glück mit deinem Modell. Ich habe das so nicht in den Griff bekommen und der Lüfer ist sobald er läuft leider nicht der Leiseste. An dem BIOS wird übrigens auch schon ewig gearbeitet. Da erwarte ich keine schnelle Besserung.

Dell now has a sensational offer for 12" Dell Latitude X1 for around 1250 Euro! I can post links to several reviews of this model based on 1.1GHz ULV processor in English. The model is made on license from Samsung. The original Samsung Q30 is priced above 4000 Euro. It appears to be the best choice
for the ultra-light subnotebook.

I habe das Nexoc S602 mit dem Celeron M Prozessor. Seltsamerweise ist der Lüfter nicht so laut wie bei den anderen, obwohl ich den Celeron M habe. Es kam mit dabei hauptsächlich auf den Preis an. Mit 865 Euro war das auch ein Schnäppchen. Wenn ich nun eine neuanschaffung machen würde und der preis bis 1500euro gehen würde, würde ich das dell x1 kaufen. aber das ist schon fast das doppelte

It seems that dell x1 has a cheaper plastic case (not magnesium, as samsung Q30) and not so good display (i read at least one very critical report in English): small ver and hor vision angles, not so bright as Q30 (though the number of 170 cd/m2 I have seen somewhere looks not bad, better than 140cd/m2 of 12" IBM Thinkpad and Apple 12" Powerbook).

Note, that Dell adds 75 Euro to the price for sending off.
