turion notebooks have smaller battery life than pentium m based ones. forget about old s260 with celeron m. MSI has done good improvements in this model (predecessor of s260) since that time. You will not have good battery life with celeron m either.

Don't buy S270, unless you absolutely need 64 bit OS. Mediaonline's offer of S260 for 699 euro is fine.
