Grundsätzlich sind alle LGA1155 Sandy-Bridge CPUs kompatibel zum ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe. Wer jedoch seinen Prozzi möglichst weit übertakten möchte,
der kommt an einem Modell mit dem Zusatz "K" im Namen nicht vorbei. Denn auschliesslich diese lassen einen höheren "Turbomulti" zu. Modelle ohne "K"
besitzen einen festen maximalen "Turbomulti" und sind daher für OC ungeeignet, da der Referenztakt nur von 100MHz auf maximal 105-110MHz
erhöht werden kann (kommt sonst zu Instabilitäten!).

Meine USB 3.0 HD wurde an meinem P8Z77V-LX zuerst nur als 2.0 erkannt. Eine Option bei den USB-Ports im BIOS war Schuld. Hast Du da schon mal geguckt?

Nö, läuft schon seit Beginn gut das Board. Auch OC passt. Das einzige was ich bemängeln kann ist die Verarbeitung von Asus, bis ich ein gescheites Board hatte musste ich 3 mal tauschen. Kann natürlich Pech sein, aber generell hat sich Asus eher bei der Verarbeitung zum schlechten verändert (siehe auch die letzten Nexus Tablets)

Ich hatte bisher keine Probleme und auch die Verarbeitung passt bei mir. Im Alltag läuft es mit 4,2 GHz und 4,5 liefen auch stabil.
USB macht bis jetzt keine Probleme.
Wenn es preislich passt, würde ich aber eher zum Deluxe greifen. Sind nur Feinheiten in der Ausstattung/Einstellung und kommt auf deine Bedürfnisse an.
Am besten du lädst dir mal die BDA runter.

ich denke ein asrock extreme 4 langt für meine bedürfnisse auch vollkommen aus. zudem bin ich von asrocks homepage angetan.weder gigabyte noch asus hat eine so schnelle und übersichtliche seite wie asrock.

ich denke ich gebe denen mal ne chance. nem kumpel hab ich das board damals auch verbaut. ich hab dann zum gigabayte gegriffen -.-

Hallo,
habe seit langem ein P8Z77-V Deluxe im Betrieb und immer mit SPDIF oder über HDMI verwendet, also habe ich lange Zeit die analogen Anschlüsse gar nicht benötigt... Nun möchte ich allerdings etwas per AUX anschließen und des wird nicht erkannt und mein Mikrofon auch nicht, habe schon mehrfach den Treiber neuinstalliert usw. doch im Treiber steht immer "Digital Output" dran und im BIOS kann ich nur zwischen SPDIF und HDMI wählen. Die Anschlüsse müssen doch irgendwie verwendet werden können oder wird das von Windows 8.1 nicht mehr unterstützt oder?!

Wäre echt super, wenn ihr mir helfen könntet dies wieder zum laufen zu bekommen... Danke schon mal im voraus!

Du musst über den Offset gehen, d.h. Offset Mode Sign auf Minus, weil du ja weiter runter willst. Dann bei CPU Offset Voltage um wie viel.

und auf welches tool kann ich mich verlassen, dass mir die richtigen spannungen unter windows anzeigt.
cpu-z sag grad 0,984 unter last. belastung per PRIME 100 %

Ja, die Vcore geht dann im Idle entsprechend auch runter. CPU-Z kannst du vertrauen. VID heißt Voltage Identification Definition und ist von Intel für den Takt für einen stabilen Betrieb vorgegeben.

Also ich hab damals bwusst zum V-LX gegriffen, da mir die Specs reichten und es vor über einem Jahr schon unter 100€ gekostet hat. Von Asrock hatte ich nur ein einziges Board, damals noch für nen AM2, aber das war nie stable, daher bin ich damals wieder zurück zu Abit und danach zu Asus gewechselt. Vielleicht hab ich aber auch nur ein Montagsboard erwischt ;-)

welchen RST Treiber habt ihr bei euch drauf? Auf der ASUS Homepage ist der neuste RST Treiber für den P8Z77-V die Version 11.1.0.1006.
Es gibt aber schon eine 12.9er Version oder ist die mit dem Mainboard nicht mehr kompatibel?

Ich habe heute mein System mal wieder aktualisiert, dabei auch die hier diskutierten RST Treiber. Dabei habe ich dann von der CB Seite die aktuelle Version genommen: 13.1.0.1058

Danach kam ich kaum noch bis zum Desktop, Win7 Ultimate hat sich dauernd aufgehangen bzw. machte minutenlange Denkpausen.

Welche Version könnt ihr empfehlen? Benutze das Z77 VLX und eine M4 mit FW 0307, eigentlich seit Ewigkeiten völlig problemlos. Jetzt habe ich die uralt Treiber von der ASUS HP, damit läuft es (scheinbar) wieder problemlos, aber das kanns ja eigentlich nicht sein.

BIOS ist aktuell, 2403.

Ich habe seit 2 Jahren das alte Bios 12er oder maximal das 15ner drauf mit den alten Intel-Treibern von damals (2011 und 2012).
Ich kann nur sagen: Bei mir läuft alles stabil.
Habe das Z77 - pro
und ob ich nun Crucial M4, oder ne Samsung 240 dran habe
und noch sechs weiter Festplatten (ab und an)
ein 7Fach USB 3 Hub
über Spidf immer Soundausgang
und nun ne 780er GtX
Alles läuft und läuft und ...

Warum neues Bios oder neuer Treiber, wenn doch alles vorher gut läuft?

Naja, neuere Treiber, Firmware und BIOS sorgen ja idR für mehr Funktionen, Stabilität und Performance. Ich verstehe Deinen Standpunkt gut, teile die Einstellung aber nur bis zu einem gewissen Grad. Das extremste Beispiel sind hier sicher die Grafikkartentreiber. Wer die Treiber beim Kauf der Karte bis zum Ende nutzt, verschenkt nach einem Jahr u.U je nach Anwendung mal schnell 10, 20 oder gar 50% Leistung, in Einzelfällen sogar noch mehr.

Daher halte ich lieber das ganze System up to date. Viel bringt es zwar nicht, aber ich mag das Gefühl, aus der vorhandenen Hardware das Optimum herauszuholen. Leider kommt es dabei wie in diesem Fall auch mal zu Problemen.

Ja, das stimmt schon bei vielen Dingen.

Doch gerade bei diesem Mainboard hatte ich zwischenzeitlich auch mal neuere USB3 Treiber direkt von Intel drauf,
doch letztendlich hatte es Nichts gebracht.

Ich hatte auch schon überlegt ob ich nicht mal das Bios etc. aktuallisiere,
da ich das System nun an eine gute Bekannte verschenke.
Doch als ich hier dann las, das es eventuell mehr Probleme als einen Gewinn bringt,
habe ich davon Abstand genommen.

(Baue mir gerade ein neues System: Gehäuse + Asus Z97-Pro mit 4690K zusammen.)

Ich liebe einfach die Asus Boards spätestens seit dem P8Z77 schon wegen der Ai Suite:

und man kann OC-Profile direkt über Windows anlegen und je nach Anwendung starten.
(Beim P8Z68 ging dies noch nicht ganz so gut.)

Also ich hab das Board seit anderthalb Jahren und habe bis auf eine Version alle BIOS Versionen drauf gehabt und damit nie Probleme bekommen. Ist einzig jetzt der sata Treiber, der nicht so richtig will. Hab zwar nur mildes OC aber dafür bisher ein extrem stabiles System gehabt, würde mich also nicht vor dem Flashen scheuen. Lüftersteuerung hab ich noch nie richtig ausprobiert, der Lüfter ist eh recht leise, sodass ich immer nur Graka und NT höre [emoji12] Aber wenn ich mal wieder Zeit hab, probier ich das auch mal aus. Die Suite find ich ok, benutze sie aber nur sporadisch.

Da ich nicht recht glauben wollte, dass das Problem Intels sata Treiber ist, habe ich mich zu einer Neuinstallation entschlossen. Aber ich hab auch danach genau das gleiche Problem, Windows stürzt ab bzw friert ein.

Mit dem Windows Treiber gibt es keinen Ärger, auch scheint der Intel Treiber von der Asus Homepage von 2012 zu funktionieren. Daher werde ich den jetzt einfach behalten, solange er keine Probleme macht.

Ich habe noch ein kleines Problem: Ich habe eine SSD (Crucial M4) und drei HDDs verbaut. Eine der Festplatten (oder mehrere?) macht offensichtlich nach kurzer Zeit SpinDowns. Man hört es, wenn man z.B. in Windows eine Dateisuche startet und die Platte wieder hochfährt. Allerdings habe ich im Energiesparplan angegeben, dass die Platten erste nach 45 Minuten einen Spindown machen sollen. Teilweise höre ich den SpinUp aber schon nach drei oder vier Minuten nach dem Hochfahren. Hab ich unter Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit etwas übersehen? Ganz früher gab es ja auch mal eine enstprechende Option im Bios, da hab ich aber nix gefunden. Hat jemand ne Idee? Danke!

Edit: ich weiß, dass ich dieses Problem bei der vorherigen Windows Installation nicht hatte, hab aber auch erst das jüngste Bios für mein LX drauf (2403).

hat jemand eine Idee, wie man Chipsatz bzw. Mainboard auf Fehler testen kann ? Es fängt damit an, dass Browser abschmiert, Systemsteuerung rumzickt (Systembewertung,Update,Netzwerk nicht mehr funktionieren) und weiter nach paar Neustarts kein Booten mehr...

Bei mir zickt aktuell der ASMEDIA-Chip für die USB-Ports rum. Bringt immer Fehlercode 31. Treiber ist der aktuelleste und wurde auch schon neu installiert. Leider ohne Erfolg. Jemand noch eine Idee?
