Grundsätzlich sind alle LGA1155 Sandy-Bridge CPUs kompatibel zum ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe. Wer jedoch seinen Prozzi möglichst weit übertakten möchte,
der kommt an einem Modell mit dem Zusatz "K" im Namen nicht vorbei. Denn auschliesslich diese lassen einen höheren "Turbomulti" zu. Modelle ohne "K"
besitzen einen festen maximalen "Turbomulti" und sind daher für OC ungeeignet, da der Referenztakt nur von 100MHz auf maximal 105-110MHz
erhöht werden kann (kommt sonst zu Instabilitäten!).

Hi!
Mir wurde im anderen Thread geraten die Fragen mal hier zu stellen:

Bin seit gestern dabei mein System zusammen zu bauen... Jetzt hab ich mit meinem Board einige Fragen:
- Ich habe ein RAID 1 über den Marvell RAID Controller konfiguriert. Ist es möglich die einzelnen Platten einzusehen? Am alten Pc hatte ich hierfür Dawicontrol und dort ein RAID Menü. Man konnte beide Platten sehn und auch wie sie aktuell laufen. Nachher kackt mir da eine Platte ab und ich merk gar nix von, das wär ja blöd!

- Die Lüftersteuerung... Eigentlich ganz nett, nur wird der optionale CPU-Lüfter nict richtig angezeigt... Habe auf einen Prolimatech Genesis 2 Silent Wings 2 mit PWM montiert. Laufen auch, der CPU Lüfter mit ~200 U/min, der optionale mit ähnlichen Werten. Allerdings wird der optionale immer mit 0rpm angezeigt, obwohl er eigentlich schneller dreht... Bin diesbezüglich jetzt etwas verwirrt! Wenn er dann bei ca. 500 u/min ist stimmt die Anzeige auch wieder... Gibts da ne Möglichkeit das irgendwie hinzubekommen?

*seufz* Also da das Board noch Bios Version 1106 hat, wollte ich einfach mal das aktuelle Flashen. Nachdem ich aber das File runtergeladen habe, den Renamer aus dem gleichen Ordner hab drüber laufen lassen und dann die cap-Datei im BIOS per Anwendung flashen will, kommt entweder die Meldung, dass die Sicherheitsüberprüfung (was immer das hier sein soll) fehlgeschlagen ist oder (beim nächsten Versuch) dass es sich bei dem File um kein UEFI Bios handeln würde. Hab das File einmal von ner HDD eingelesen, dann vom sonst leeren USB Stick. Was mach ich falsch?

Hiho Leute, auf meinem P8Z77-V läuft noch immer das BIOS 0906.

Macht es Sinn auf das 1708 upzugraden? Das einzige Problem, das ich habe, ist, dass meine Wester Digital 2,5" USB 3.0 HDD nicht immer zuverlässig erkannt wird. Leider gilt das auch am ThinkPad T430, insofern habe ich mir das update bisher immer gespart, weil es für mich eher nach einem generellen Problem zwischen dem HDD Controller und Ivy Bridge klang...

Was meint ihr?

kuhnikuehnast: Wie hast du es überhaupt geschafft ein Raid einzurichten ohne Oberfläche? Ich will ein Raid für die Intelports machen aber weiß nicht wo? Mit Ctrl+i komme ich nicht rein. Die Lüftersteuerung optionale CPU ist mit dem CPU Lüfter gekoppelt, d.h. er dreht einfach in Abhängigkeit und wohl auch im Drehzahlbereich (ist einfach schlecht programmiert).
Dr.Death: Probiers doch einfach über Windows zu flashen, das "Im Bios flashen" hab ich bisher sogar mehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht bei Asus als in Windows.
Katsche: Schau dir doch das Changelog an, dann weißt du ob es für dich Sinn macht.

Da komme ich ja gerade her.

Was häufig auftaucht ist "Improves System Stability". Bei mir stürzt nichts ab. Inkompatibilitätsprobleme bei CPUs oder RAM habe ich auch nicht. Nur das USB Ding wurmt ein wenig und wäre für mich aktuell der einzige halbwegs zählbare Grund.

Habe ich Verbesserungen übersehen?

Welches Tool zum Flashen unter Win nehm ich denn? In dem Bios Download ist nix bei und auf der Asus HP hab ich eben auch nix gesehen.

So, auf der Asus Page gibt es nur die Files, dann den Renamer und ein Tool, um unter DOS zu flashen... jedenfalls wenn ich Win7 64 Bit auswähle... oder hab ich Tomaten auf den Augen?

Vertan, sprach der Hahn... und stieg von der Ente. Ich hab gar nicht das P8Z77-V sondern das P8Z77V-LX. Weiß zwar nicht, wo da der Unterschied ist, aber für die LX Variante finde ich auch auf der ASUS HP ein andere BIOS, eigentlich logisch. Nicht logisch hingegen ist, dass sich auch dieses File nicht mit EZ-Flash flashen lässt. Bin jetzt echt reichlich ratlos.

kuhnikuehnast: Wie hast du es überhaupt geschafft ein Raid einzurichten ohne Oberfläche? Ich will ein Raid für die Intelports machen aber weiß nicht wo? Mit Ctrl+i komme ich nicht rein. Die Lüftersteuerung optionale CPU ist mit dem CPU Lüfter gekoppelt, d.h. er dreht einfach in Abhängigkeit und wohl auch im Drehzahlbereich (ist einfach schlecht programmiert).

Hoffe mal die machen das noch besser! Das komische ist ja, dass nix angezeigt wird, OBWOHL! der Lüfter dreht! Dachte schon evtl. is die Geschwindigkeit einfach zu langsam?

Mit dem RAID, kannst doch einfach Strg+I bzw. Strg+M beim Booten drücken... Ansonsten kannst Du das im Bios auch unter SATA Konfiguration einstellen, dann ist das bei dem Intel Ding erst möglich. Habe jetzt inzwischen auch ein Programm gefunden mit dem ich die einzelnen Platten anschauen kann: Marvell RAID Utility nennt sich das Ding. Damit kann man dann über den Browser drauf zugreifen.

Neues Problem das sich gerade auftut: Habe eine Funkmaus und USB- Tastatur angeschlossen (an den vorgesehenen Ports) Problem: Immer wieder hängt die Maus! Total nervig! Als ob das System total ausgelastet wäre und kurz vor dem Absturz steht... :-( Irgend jemand ne Idee woran das liegen könnte?

Da komme ich ja gerade her.

Was häufig auftaucht ist "Improves System Stability". Bei mir stürzt nichts ab. Inkompatibilitätsprobleme bei CPUs oder RAM habe ich auch nicht. Nur das USB Ding wurmt ein wenig und wäre für mich aktuell der einzige halbwegs zählbare Grund.

Habe ich Verbesserungen übersehen?

Das Problem ist so eher den Stick Bootfähig zu machen , hab es jedenfalls so Verstanden , im windows ist es jetzt einfacher , ich jedenfalls hab jetzt meinen Stick den ich nur fürs flashen von Graka und MoBo hatte in den Ruhestand geschickt : )

Hi, ich habe das P8Z77-V und hab ein Problem mit der internen Grafikeinheit meines 3570k bzw. Virtu. Wenn ich meinen Monitor an die integrierte Grafikeinheit anstecke wird mir beim booten kein Bild angezeigt, erst in Windows selbst. Wie kann ich das ändern?

Danke, des hats schon deutlich verbessert. Perfekt ist es leider immer noch nicht. Das erste Bild bekomm ich bei der Anzeige des Windowssymbols (nach Bootvorgang) und nach einer kurzen Pause den Desktop. Außerdem fehlt der Ton, bei der Widergabe über den optischen Port. Über Hdmi funktionierts. Leider kann ich im Bios nichts verändern, weil mir dort kein Bild angezeigt wird

Hallo zusammen,

ich weiß das gehört eher in den Zusammenstellungsthread, aber meine Frage bezieht sich speziell auf das ASUS P8Z77-V Board. Möchte mir evtl. in nächster Zeit ein neues System zusammenstellen. Sprich evtl. das Board mit einem i5-3570k oder Alternativ i5-3470 usw.
Nun zu meiner Frage.. Ich habe letztens von einem bekannten aufgeschnappt, dass das oben genannte Board eine "alte" Auflage sein soll. Ist das wahr? Ich weiß jetzt ehrlich gesagt auch nicht, ob es bei der Serie verschiedene Revisionen gibt, aber meiner Meinung nach handelt es sich doch um ein aktuelles Board?
Würdet Ihr außerdem das Board in Verbindung mit einer der genannten CPUs betreiben oder sollte hierfür lieber ein anderes Board her? Evtl. das ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 oder doch ein Gigabyte?

Danke für den Tipp mit der Al-Suite. Zwar hat das Tool kein Bios-File gefunden, aber nachdem ich die Datei per Hand von den Asus-Servern gefischt hatte, ging es damit.

Leider nicht, das war ja mein Problem. Das UEFI hat das BIOS-File nicht anerkannt. Mit dem selben File in der Suite ging es dann aber ja. Und das tolle Ergebnis:

Mit der aktuellen 1502 Version kann ich nun endlich erfolgreich das XMP-Profil laden. Der 3450K ist damit direkt auf 4,1 Ghz, der RAM läuft auch mit 1600 Mhz wie er soll. Bin jetzt echt zufrieden mit dem Ding, wenn es jetzt noch stabil läuft. Vielen Dank Euch!

Da ich mit der schlechteren Ausstattung des LX gut leben kann, bin ich froh, die 60 Euro Aufpreis zum V gespart zu haben... für mich hätte sich das V definitiv nicht gelohnt.

Mit meinen Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M2A1600C10 startet das Board immer noch nicht. Laut Corsair-Support soll es aber funzen, ich soll die Riegel hinschicken.
Kann mir mal jemand erklären, woher man das XMP-Profil bekommt und wie das dann abläuft? Ich müßte ja das Bios umstellen und dann den PC runterfahren, die Riegel tauschen und das Board soll mit den 16GB-Riegel starten, oder ist alles doch anders?

Wenn du noch zurück schicken kannst, mach das. Hab die selben Riegel drinnen und am Anfang auch nur Probleme gehabt (gibt hier auch einen Topic dazu). Memtest usw. hat nie etwas gefunden, ein anderes paar läuft aber jetzt.
Könnte mir vorstellen das du einfach auch Pech hast.

Also mein 16GB Corsair Vengeance LP Black DDR3-1600 DIMM CL10 Kit läuft seit dem letzten Bios (1502) problemlos auch mit 1600 Mhz, via XMP-Profil. Das Board hat bei mir mehrere Neustarts gemacht, bis endlich ein Bild kam. Dann ins BIOS, Einstellungen angepasst, gespeichert, fertig. Allerdings hat das, wie ich schon oben geschrieben hab, mit dem BIOS, mit dem das Board ausgeliefert wurde, nicht geklappt. Habe aber auch das V-LX, vllt. macht das noch mal nen Unterschied.

Ich hab das P8Z77-V LE PLUS seit ein paar Wochen und wenn ich den Rechner einschalte und gleich nach dem Piepton F8 drücke kommt auch das Bootmenü aber wenn ich aus Windows heraus neu starte und dann gleich beim Piepton F8 drücke komme ich nie in`s Bootmenü. Das macht micht echt wahnsinnig, geht das generell nur beim Kaltstart?
