Jopp, da hast du sicherlich recht. Naja, vielleicht kaufe ich mir doch mal ein neues Book, wenn das HM wirklich nicht mehr fix genug zum gamen ist..Aber bis dahin habe ich bestimmt meine Gaming Ambitionen komplett eingestellt, Kind Nummer 2 ist unterwegs und jünger werde ich auch nicht.. Und wenn es wirklich daddeln sein soll und es soll gut laufen, gehts auch mit der PS4 ;)
 
Ich bin in gewisser Weise schon nen Fan von den großen Konsolen ... anschalten und Gamen am großen TV, ohne "lästige" Einstellungen ... aber mir sind die beiden Konsolen einfach nicht "Next-Gen" genug, ich mach nen weiten Bogen um diese und würde die ~400€ wieder in neue VGA investieren.

Hallo zusammen,

wollte mal fragen was GPU-technisch das maximum (GTX485m und 2670m) für mein Clevo 150HM wäre, ohne das die CPU überfordert wird (genau Ausstattung siehe Signatur, und 8GB Ram sind schon in Arbeit :P).
AMD kommt nur in Frage, wenn es anständige Treiber gibt, die ohne probleme laufen, wobei das ohne Optimus normal kein Problem sein sollte, oder doch?

AMD 7970m - best bang for the buck ;)
Ansonsten, eben NVIDIA 680M GTX - doppelt so teuer, etwas besser übertaktbar und etwas schneller.. Aber die 7970m reicht dicke aus.. auch für BF4 ;)

Ansonsten folge meinem Sysprofile - einfach auf meine Signatur klicken, da siehst Benchmark Ergebnisse mit OC und eben Gamebenches mit etwas OC oder Standard Taktraten.

Wurde das Problem mit nicht funktionierendem hdmi audio gelöst, bei 150hm+7970m? Das hat anfangs nicht geklappt...
 
Wenn du eine 7970m der Revision 1.2 bekommst, könnte das ganze funktionieren. Ein paar im NBR als auch hier konnten HDMI zum laufen bringen.. Ich hab es bis heute nicht getestet, brauch es nicht ;)

Naja, hab nun BF4 @ Ultra im SP/MP mit 950/1400 laufen mit 60 FPS - die "alte Krücke" schlägt sich nach wie vor super für einen Kaufpreis komplett für 950 Euro kann ich micht nicht beschweren - hihi..
 
Hat wer einen Tipp welcher br Brenner was taugt oder sogar den alten sony optisch 5470 über für das p1x0hm? :-)
 
Hab aktuell den SN-506AB. Hab außer der Marke nichts zu beanstanden.

Hab jetzt auch nochmal bei clevo angefragt. Werd wahrscheinlich eine 7970m bei denen für 240 EUR netto ordern...
Leider antworten die Mitarbeiter immer sehr knapp. Daher kann ich noch nicht in Erfahrung bringen, ob es die REV 1.2 wird.
Brauche ich ein anderes BIOS für den Blindflash der REV 1.2?

Dell Karten sollten nicht im Clevo laufen, andersherum ja. Händler oder privat? Nicht das es eine Clevo Karte mit Alienware VBIOS ist ;)

Habe die neuen von der EM/SM Serie nie probiert, werden ja aber wohl nicht gehen, da die Hotkey Treiber ja deep level zugriff haben und meine Büchse ja nicht alles kann, was die neuen Books so können (Tastaur-Beleuchtung etc.)

Bei mir ist der Hotkey Treiber auch regelmäßig abgeschmiert. Nach sauberer Reinstallation hatte ich in den letzten Wochen keine Probleme mehr. Reinstalliert habe ich die gleiche Version wie du :-)

Soooo, hab mal die Heatsink für das p1xxSM für die 8970M geordert.. Laut T|I Forum soll diese wohl perfekt auf die 7970M passen, nur die Wärmeleitpads sind halt falsch, aber das kann man ja korrigieren. Na dann warten wir mal ab..

BTW: du hast doch auch einen 2920xm drin, nicht wahr? Hast du ein Costumbios von Prema laufen? Oder welche Besonderheiten hast du noch geflasht? :-)

Nee ich hab nur einen 2760qm drin - weil mir das Upgrade rein für das Gaming nicht unbedingt was bringt.

Rein Stock beim Gaming ist der 2760 genauso schnell - mit oc kriegt man ggf 2-7 fps mehr hin, aber das lohnt kaum meiner Meinung nach.. Wenn ich jetzt noch viel Prozessorlastiges machen würde, wäre es ja "sinniger" mit dem XM, rein spielen eher Sinnfrei in meinen Augen.

Jep, nur bitte achtgeben: die pads langsam abziehen, falls es die von der bestehenden Kühlung sind. Neue sollten im set aber dabei sein. Ziehst du zu schnell, reißen sie oder verkleben mit sich selber. Ich hab schon geflucht deswegen ;-)

Meine aktuellen bei der 7970m sind durch die ganzen Wechsel wegen dem rma auch etwas fertig - daher der Wechsel auf die 8970er kühlgruppe ;-)

Das wird dir gefallen. Ich bin schon gespannt auf die Temps, die du hast. Ich krieg meine 2 8970 nur noch in Extremfällen auf 80-82 grad (ingame Menüs ohne vsync mit 200 fps...und vergessen auf alt-tab). Meistens so zwischen 65 und 75 grad, auch wenn ich auf 975/1520 laufen lasse. Da hatte die 7970 schon oranges Glühen :-)
 
Also aktuell hab ich PK3 auf der AMD 7970m - max. Temp bei 99% GPU Last in BF4 (alles Ultra ohne MSAA zw. 65 und 120 fps @ 950/1400) => 76 °C ;) in 3DMark11 mit den Settings bleib ich bei 59/60 °C

Ich bin mal gespannt ob die einheit wirklich passt und was sie zu leisten vermag.. Wenn sie wirklich die Temps wie angenommen im TechInferno um ca. 8 Grad drückt, dann werd ich das vBIOS mit 1.05v nutzen und die Karte auf 1000/1400 bzw. 1000/1500 kaufen lassen.. die Temps sollten ja dann kein Problem sein.

Ich berichte sobald das Ding da ist.
