Was hast du denn geschrieben? Wenn du den geschrieben hast das du die "falsche" VGA in ein P150HM bauen willst, war dies zu erwaten. Für sowas haben nicht wirklich nen offenes Ohr. Einfach nur schreiben das du ne 7970M kaufen möchtest und eine 6970M im Tausch anzubieten hättest.
PS: Hauptsache du lässt dir kein P370SM ES mit GTX 680M Karte andrehen ^^

vielleicht weiß einer ob ich eine 7970 in ein clevo X8100 verbauen kann. Muss da viel verändert werden oder passt der Kühler der 5870 auch auf die 7970?
Wo kann man zu einem vernünftigen Preis eine 7970 bekommen?
Falls hier einer eine loswerden will hätte ich interesse.
Passen die Grakas aus den Alienware Geräten ohne Probleme in die Clevos?

Ansonsten weiss ich nicht ob die X8100 die 7970m aufnehmen können, ggf. hilft ein Blick im NBR-Forum. Entweder die Karte aus den Staaten ordern, wobei sie einfach schon wieder EoL ist, oder ggf. bei Clevo Deutschland anfragen zwecks einer Inzahlungnahme. Manche bestellen wohl immernoch bei Notebookguru/Notebookbarebone - ich nicht mehr. Ansonsten bei eBay mal ausschau halten.
Achja, kleines Update aus meiner Reihe.. bin gerade wieder an ein paar Alienware Rechenknechten dran, evtl. Wechsel ich heute Abend schon wieder das Lager und erfreue mich daran, die aktuellen High End Karten mit Ivy Bridge nutzen zu können, so ein R4 sieht schon toll aus
Ganz guter Deal, 150 Euro kannst bei Glück noch für eine 6970m bekommen in der Bucht.. suchen halt nicht mehr so viele. Ansonsten 200 Euro für 100% mehr Leistung, ist wie im Desktop die GPU aufrüsten Gutes P/L Verhältnis.
ueberleg nicht lang, schlag zu. 6970 ist nichts, was im wert steigen wird. das teil ist 2 jahre alte Technologie und die 7970er hat richtig power im vergleich dazu.
? So wie ich das verstanden hatte bekommt er von Clevo auch nur die 100 Euro, oder nicht?
War ja auch nur ein Angebot, er kann seinen Preis doch einfach nennen. Passt doch er möchte sie verkaufen und ich suche sowas.
Um hier mal wieder Meldung zu machen: Ich sollte die 7970M denke nun diese Woche bekommen, hat nun alles geklappt, nachdem ich sie für ein P150EM geordert habe, rofl. Leider muss ich den Verkauf der 6970M nun selbst in die Hand nehmen. Golden Star hätte die Karte zwar in Zahlung genommen, allerdings hätte ich die Karte dann zuerst übergeben müssen, damit die sie testen können. Da das Clevo allerdings mein einziger Rechner ist wollte es mir nicht so recht schmecken nachher vielleicht einige Wochen ohne dazustehen. Firesoul hat sich nun auch entschlossen eher ein neuer Gerät zu kaufen, statt zu riskieren, dass die GPU eventuell nicht läuft. Wo denkt ihr bekomme ich die 6970M am besten weg? Ebay? Oder doch eher bei NBR oder ähnlichen Forumsmarktplätzen?
Ich hätte allerdings auch noch ein paar Fragen:
- Welche Wärmeleitpaste sollte ich verwenden? Habe mich damit noch gar nicht beschäftigt. Habe auf die 6970M zwar auch mal neue aufgetragen, allerdings hatte ich die von einem Freund bekommen der noch übrig hatte.
- Ich verwende zuhause einen externen Monitor, der hat allerdings keinen DVI-Anschluss. Da ich ja davon ausgehen muss, dass HDMI mit der 7970M nicht klappt muss ich wohl zu nem Adapter greifen. Macht es da einen Unterschied, ob ich ein HDMI Kabel verwende und einen DVI zu HDMI Adapter am Laptop verwende, oder nen DVI Kabel benutze und nen Adapter zwischen Monitor und Kabel klemm? (Kabel habe ich beides da, nur keinen Adapter bisher)
- Gibt es sonst noch Tipps zur Kühling? Etwas Alutape habe ich schon im Rechner um den Luftfluss zu verbessern.
- Gibt es beim vBios was zu beachten? Gibt es da unterschiedliche Versionen?
- Gibt es eigentlich für das Gerät an sich noch ein besseres Bios? Verwende das aktuelle von Clevo selbst, also das von Ende 2011.

Die Wärmeleitpaste ist schon auf dem Kühler.
Der HDMI Anschluss funktioniert nicht unter Windows...Beim Booten des PC`s (Windows ladebalken) funktioniert es komischerweise.
Über das DVI-Kabel bekommst du kein Audio durch. Wenn ich mich da Irren sollte,kann man mich gerne berichtigen.
Ich habe das selbe Clevo Modell wie du und habe mich bis jetzt nicht getraut mein Bios mal zu flashen.Würde aber gerne mal wissen was es bringen tut
die Wärmeleitpaste die auf der Karte sein wird ist leider nur ein dicker Brei bzw eben ein Pad - bessere WLP bringt da bei den Temperaturen ggf. schon den Unterschied. Ich nutze aktuell IC Diamond, hatte davor mal Prolimatech PK-1 und Artic Cooling MX-2 genutzt. Schenken sich alle nicht viel, aber die IC Diamond ist bis jetzt die beste bei der GPU, max. Temp liegt bei 71°C mit OC - ohne OC sinds 66°C.
Den ALU-Tapemod habe ich auch in Nutzung, ansonsten noch ein paar VRAM Kühler aus Kupfer auf der Kühlung, bringt aber eigtl. nur was, wenn das Backplate modifiziert ist oder gar nicht montiert wird.
vBIOS gibt es verschiedene Versionen, leider.. ich habe eines mit 1.000v Core Spannung, es gibt aber noch eines mit 1.05v und eines mit 1.075v => das 1.075v ist von slv7 und ermöglicht es, die Karte auf über 1 Ghz zu übertakten, ansonsten ist das die magische Grenze bei 1.05 Volt Schau dazu einfach mal im NBR in Sager/Clevo Bereich, dort gibt es im Sammelthread zum flashen die verschiedenen BIOS Versionen und eben auch eine Anleitung und Erklärung.
Beim Gerät selbst musst du das aktuelle BIOS und EC verwenden, sonst wird die Karte nicht laufen.
Hey, also die GPU ist da und eingebaut, allerdings will das noch nicht so richtig. Ich bekomme ein Bild, beim Windows start bekomme ich aber sofort einen Blue Screen, sobald ich einen Treiber installiert habe. IM abgesicherten Modus, bzw als Standard VGA läufts... ist das Ding schon hin? ..
Ja, vBios ist drauf, davor hatte ich gar kein Bild, was denke normal ist. Naja, habe inzwischen 3 Treiber versucht, nur der aktuelle Betatreiber scheint die zu erkennen. Die anderen beiden wollen den Bildschirmtreiber nicht zur Auswahl stellen. Habe sie übrigens auch schon als 7970M mir Code 43 im Geräte Managar gesehen. Gibts noch was was ich versuchen kann? Der Text beim Blue Screen sagt übrigens, dass ich nach neuen Biosdateien schauen soll. Habe aber das "aktuelle" Bios drauf (November 2011).
Kann noch sagen, das mit dem Flashen hatte mich auch schon gethrillt, stand erstmal 20 Minuten vor dem Laptop mit schwarzem Bild, bis ich mich entschlossen hatte ihn nochmal neu zu starten, dann gings 20 sec, dann startete er mit nem Bild neu. Nehme an, das erste mal muss er in Windows gebootet sein oder so.
ist das eins aus der 7970m bios sammlung, so ein rar file? wenn ja, das hab ich schon mal durchforstet, aber was genau drin ist, bzw. welches genau passt, keine ahnung. frag mal svl7 oder prema, einer der beiden sollte wissen, was du brauchst.
passt das ori bios einer 7970m aus einem p370em (obne enduro) zu deinem modell? sonst kann ich das bios auslesen und dir schicken. oder du findest wen, der dasselbe modell wie du hat, p150hm war das?, und ein funktionierendes vbios mit einer funktionierenden graka hat
HIER! Nur ich bin in der Arbeit, der Laptop eben nicht Sonst hätte ich dir schon längst mein vBIOS per GPU-Z gezogen und geschickt - weil das funktioniert ja bei mir tadellos. Ob das p370em passt wage ich aktuell mal zu behaupten, könnte 50:50 gehen - ich weiss nicht ob das p370m bios die GPU anderst ansteuert, da wäre Prema ja dann wieder der Kandidat für das know-how dazu
