Foxconn BIOS Upate

Hy Leute,

ich hab das A690GM2MA-8KRS2H Board von Foxconn. Ich wollte mit Hilfe des Auto Update (FoxLiveUdate) mein Bios aktualisieren. Jedesmal kommt die Fehlermeldung "BIOS Update failed". Woran könnte das liegen. Ich hab auf jeden Fall die aktuellste Version des FoxLiveUpdate.

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate

Updates sollte man im Windows nicht machen, sei froh, dass trotz der meldung dein PC noch läuft!
Lad dir mal das aktuelle Bios runter und flash es im Dos.
Wie genau das bei Foxconns geht steht im Handbuch!

Hab das ma mit DRDOS image Flash Tool und aktueller BIOS Version probiert dort zeig der mir aber an das er den Flash nicht löschen konnte. Blöderweise hab ich leider kein Manual von Foxconn. Kann das mit nem Jumper zusammenhängen ?

Kontrollier mal ob der Schreibschutz im BIOS aktiv ist. Den muss man vorm flashen abschalten.

Bios Flash Write Protection

bin grad das Bios Punkt für Punkt durchgegangen und hab nix zu Flash Write Protection gefunden !!!
