Wer noch ein gutes UD5h sucht möge in meine Signatur schauen. War voll zufrieden und verkaufe es nur da die Haswell Vorbereitungen laufen :)

Und eine Crossfire Zertifizierung ist demnach billiger?
Es ist mir schon klar das nicht jedes Popelboard SLI/X-fire hat, der Punkt der mich wundert ist warum ich dann nur eins von beiden drauf mache statt entweder beide oder garnicht.
Crossfire ist viel billiger da AMD am Markt mit dem Rücken zur Wand steht. Nvidia kann da halt verlangen was sie wollen. Im Preisvergleich sind billigsten cf-boards auch ca. 40 Tacken günstiger als die billigsten sli-boards - die cf-zertifizierung wird also einfach hinterhergeworfen.
 
Moinsen, ich habe ein D3H, mit dem ich eigentlich sehr zufrieden bin - bis auf die Tatsache, dass sich der Rechner haeufig aufhaengt, wenn ich ins UEFI gehe. Mitten im Bildaufbau bleibt's einfach stehen, dann hilft nur neu starten, wieder versuchen und hoffen, dass es diesmal klappt. Tritt sporadisch auf, teils klappt's auf Anhieb, teils brauche ich 6, 7 oder noch mehr Anlaeufe. Davon abgesehen laeuft der gesamte Rechner absolut stabil. Update auf f16 vorgenommen, Problem besteht weiterhin.
Ist das ein bekanntes Problem? Gibt's Abhilfe dafuer?

Restliches System:
CPU: i7-3770K (Ivy Bridge)
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3-1600
Graka: EVGA Geforce 670 ftw
Dazu Festplatten, USB Peripherie usw usw aber all das duerfte keinen Einfluss auf das geschilderte Problem haben. Falls doch und ihr mehr Informationen benoetigt, lasst es mich wissen.
 
Mit Sandy einfach F17 Mod nehmen fertig, neuere bringen nur bugs.

Oder halt Ivy holen damit läufts ja eh immer...

Was heißt denn bei dir demnächst ...Tage, Wochen oder Monate?
Das TestBeta-Bios F16 habe auf Anfrage von Gigabyte zum Testen am 08.05.13 erhalten und seit dem auf meinem GA-Z77X-UD5H (Rev 1.1).

Über die Neuerungen des neuen Bios werde ich nach der öffentlichen Freigabe durch Gigabyte berichten.
Da ich "non-disclosure agreement" (NDA) bei Gigabyte habe, kann ich hier keine Weiteren Angaben diesbezüglich machen.

Hey, wie komme ich denn an aktuelle Treiber für das Z77X-UD3H? Gigabyte hat Ende 2012 aufgehört die Downloads auf ihrer Seite zu aktualisieren, kann ich da einfach die Treiber direkt bei Intel, VIA und Konsorten laden und installieren oder werden die von Gigabyte nochmal für das Board angepasst?

BIOS-seitig liegt wohl die ganze Aufmerksamkeit bei den kommenden Z87-Boards, seit dem F19j von vor 2 Monaten ging da ja nichtsmehr voran, oder?
 
Hallo, habe mir das Avexir Core Series D, DDR3-2400, CL10 - 16 GB Kit bestellt, jedoch heute irgendwo gelesen das mein GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H WiFi Probleme mit dem Wert hat und nur bis 1866 stabil sein soll, bzw nur 1600 max. genutzt werden.
Kann mir das nicht vorstellen aber es verunsichert mich schon ein weinig. Kann das hier jemand bestätigen, oder lassen sich die 2400 problemlos in mein Board einbauen?
Eine Steigerung der Performance erwarte ich natürlich schon.

Problemlos einbauen kanst du sie natürlich, ob sie laufen werden ist dann eine andere Frage.
Wird dir hier auch keiner 100% sagen könnten, bei 10 Leuten können sie problemlos laufen und dann trotzdem bei dir gerade nicht.
Was meinst du mit Steigerung der Performance? In Benchmarks oder wie? Weil sonst glaub ich kaum das dir das irgendwo auffallen wird.
 
Ich habe mir vor kurzem eine WD Caviar Green 3TB gekauft und in mein bereits vorhandenes Icybox ib-318 (Gehäuse mit USB2 und e-SATA) eingebaut.

Große Überraschung: Über USB 2.0 funktioniert sie, über eSata nicht:
Hotplug funktioniert gar nicht und wenn die Platte beim Systemstart schon an ist, hängt sich das System bei "Windows wird gestartet" auf.
Hinweis: eSata ist bei mir über eine Blende direkt zum internen S-ATA-Anschluss weitergeführt, mit der alten 2TB-Platte hat das auch so funktioniert...

Da es über USB 2.0 funktioniert und über eSata nicht und Raidsonic extra noch "unlimitierte Festplattenkapazität" auf die Packung gedruckt hat, gehe ich mal davon aus dass das Mainboard "schuld" ist?

Mainboard: z77x-d3h, meine BIOS-Version ist F-15.
Bei F-16 gibt GB nur an "Improve mouse compatibility" und bei F17f steht sogar "BEta" dabei...


Soll ich ein BIOS-Update machen? Wenn ja auf welches?
Was könnte ich sonst noch machen?

Das wird auf der Gigabyte-Seite noch gar nicht gelistet, wie hoch ist das Risiko bei sowas?

Ach ja, wenn die HDD ohne ext. Gehäuse im Rechner läuft, kann ich dann das BIOS/MoBo als Fehlerquelle ausschließen?

Das Festplattengehäuse kann leider nur USB2, außerdem kann USB auch in Version 3 immer noch kein DMA...
Und das Ding verwende ich wie eine interne Platte, nur mit dem Vorteil dass ich sie jederzeit mitnehmen kann wenn ich zB nur mit Laptop verreise...

Weder meine Icy Box Docking Stations noch die externen Icy Box Gehäuse gingen bei mir, war schon beim P67, Z68 und auch beim Z77 so.

Aber nicht nur bei Gigabyte, auch bei ASRock und CO - also bei allen Herstellern, die den Marvell Chip verbauen. Marvell und Icy Box mögen sich leider nicht.

Bin daher auf USB 3.0 umgestiegen, nachdem ich zig Treiber, ROMs und sogar Boards ausprobiert hatte und sich nix geändert hat.

Wenn die Platte ohne Case läuft, kannst du das Mainboard ausschließen, richtig nur bei dem Board gibt es einige interne SATA anschlüsse die per Marvell Chip gesteuert werden.
Musst mal im Handbuch schauen falls die Platte an den Marvell SATAs nicht will.

Was genau meinst du mit USB 3 kann kein DMA?
