Außerdem haben auch die Asus Boards ihre Eigenheiten wie wir beide wissen.

Die P8Z77-V/Pro Besitzer freuen sich z.B. dass sie VCCIO nicht einstellen dürfen obwohl es laut Hersteller möglich sein sollte.

Und Du freust Dich darüber dass die Multi-Range nicht richtig angezeigt wird. ;)

kommst du denn mit den auflösungsbereich der iGPU zurecht, nicht das du display-port brauchst ?

das D3H habe ich selten auf´m platz, eher das UD3H und UD5H und dort kenne ich keine an/aus probleme :-/

den LG BD-Brenner werde ich die tage mal am Marvell prüfen...ok

Das ist ein Gigabyte Sammelthread, da ist eine Diskussion über Asus Boards bzw. welche Boards "besser" laufen fehl am Platz, sorry.

@JZ_: Ich glaub wirklich langsam, dass mein Board (bzw. der Intel Lan Port) leider defekt ist.

Teste übers WE nochmal nen anderen 2500k und ruf dich dann Montag mal an :/

der multi range bug ist ein minor bug you know und hat im alltäglichen betireb keine auswirkung da er nur kosmetischer natur ist
 
Wieso hat Gigabyte Probleme mit dem RAM Speed ,denke eher nicht .habe seit dem S1366 7 oder 8 Gigabyte Board gehabt und alle hatten damit keine Probleme und mein jetziges ud3h hat Auch keine Probs damit

Schön für dich das alles läuft, sei froh, aber bei mir läuft es nicht und wenn ich denn Ram mit Profile lade läuft er überhaupt nicht,hatte auch schon einige GB Boards wobei mein x58-UD7 eins der besten war die ich hatte, nur dieses UD5 macht mich schwach, und ich sage auch nicht das Asus oder andere besser sind, sondern das mir immo das UD5 zumindest bei mir auf die Makronen geht mit den Bugs und Speicherproblemen, bin auch nicht der einzigste der mit Ram und Ivy Probleme auf dem UD5 hat, da hat Asus einen besseren Job gemacht. Dafür ist der Support bei Asus besch...
Wäre bei GB bestimmt nicht anders wenn JZ nicht währe.
Das war auch ein grund für das UD5 denn was JZ leistet finde ich vorbildlich und in unserer Gesellschaft nicht mehr selbstverständlich.
 
Mit Ivy hatte ich auch null Probleme, aber mit SB läuft das UD5h wohl leider noch nicht so rund Heiko (nächste Fuhre Ivys bekomme ich erst Mitte nächster Woche).

Zusätzlich scheint bei mir der Intel LAN Port Probleme zu machen :/

Ich probier jetzt nochmal das F6/F6l aus.

Die Boot Geschwindigkeit vom D3H/UD3H finde ich einfach :love: - noch nie zuvor boards gehabt die so schnell booten - dickes Lob an Gigabyte.

Hi, habe auch G.Skill Ripjaws 2133 CL 11 8GB und G.Skill 1600 CL 9 12GB alles 1.5V und laufen weder mit Profile noch wenn ich sie per Hand einstelle was ich sonst immer mache.
Bei Prime immer nen Blauen 00000003B, nur wenn ich sie per Hand CPU ist auf default, und 1600 CL 13-13-13-30 laufen lasse dann funktionierts, will ich sie wie sie angegeben sind laufen lassen, gibt es nen Blauen
 
Habe gerade diese hier drauf F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL - laufen einwandfrei auf XMP - habe die Module im 2. und 4. Slot.

Versuch mal 1866 zu fahren mit geringen Latenzen z.B. CL9-10-9-28 oder CL9-11-10-28 ... 2133 ist meist eh fürn .....

(ok meine Sniper 1600 CL7 laufen auch auf 2133 CL9 auf dem Maximus V Gene ;))

Bin mal gespannt wie die gleich mit einer IVY laufen ... werde berichten.

...habe gestern die BIOSe mit G510er o.ä. FIX online gestellt... haben mir die progger gestern kurz gemacht, da ich gestern sechs TWler hier hatte und drei davon (alice+hicockie) mir ab dem 03.05. wieder zur verfügung stehen ;-)

also, ich kenne keine Bootschleifen... und glaube mir, ich habe zich Z77 boards am tag in den fingern... entweder hat dein board so eine macke oder andere teile nicht so konform bzw. defekt :-/

Könnten die Bootschleifen vllt vom XMP Ram Profil kommen?
Ich nutze das eigentlich immer, es funktioniert beispielsweise beim F5 perfekt (UD3H).
bzw. wird das nochmal wieder so gefixed das es beim neusten dann auch wieder geht?

Nutze die hier Corsair Vengeance LP CML8GX3M2A1600C9 8 GB Kit und ich übertrage immer exakt die gleichen Settings von Version zu Version.
Aja mit nem 2700K zusammen.

Ich liste das mal kurz auf vllt. hilfts irgendwas.
Bei jeder Version nehme ich nur folgenden Einstellungen vor: (Alles andere bleibt wie es ist)

Power Managment
ErP enabled

Peripherals
iGPU und onboard Audio aus
Display init first auf PEG

BIOS Features
intel virtualiziation on

PC Health Status
alle fancontrols auf disabled (ohne profile da ich das nicht brauche)

3d power
pwm phase auf exm profile
Vcore LLC auf 0 bzw. standard

den ram auf Profile 1 bzw XMP
Vcore auf den wert den ich gerade brauche und die Werte darunter in dem Menü fixiere ich auf den wert der dort links daneben steht
turbo boost schalte ich komplett ab
stelle dafür aber alle cpu features wie EIST und C3 C6 etc manuell auf enabled.
achja und halt den Multi auf das was ich gerade brauche.

Mehr Einstellungen nehme ich nicht vor, liegts vllt hieran irgendwo?

PS.: Das F8g funktioniert schonmal besser, die Tastatur geht nun (endlich) wieder und bisher keine Bootschleifen. (selbe settings)

Lass mal die iGPU an und die LLC auf Auto und die Virtualisierung auf aus es sei denn Du benötigst das.

TWL auf 9 TRFC auf 160 Command Rate auf 2 - VTT mal zum Test auf 1.080 und IMC auf 0.930 sind auch Dinge die man versuchen kann wenn es Probleme gibt mit Speicher.

Prime hier einen 3570K @ 4.6GHz - Stromverbrauch liegt mit dem UD3H liegt bei 155W.

Das war es dann mit "Stromspar IVY Bridge" :P - 2500K @ 4.6 GHz hat unter den selben Bedingungen getestet ~166W Verbrauch.

Edit:

Mit 4.5 sind es dann ~140W unter Prime95 960K ... IMHO fährt man gut damit IB mit 4.5 GHz oder weniger laufen zu lassen.

Denn nur für 100 MHz mehr erhöhen sich Verbrauch und Temperatur schon um 10%.

"Sicher" ist für mich als Oldschooltyp, Stick mit FAT32, Bios files (Neue und alte) druff und dann direkt im BIOS flashen. (Danach dann CMOS Clear + Neueinstellung, denn sicher ist sicher)

Intel Chipsatztreiber kannst du entweder von Gigabyte laden oder direkt von Intel, ich denke da ist derzeit kein Unterschied.
Der Z77 ist ziemlich neu da gibts eh nur einen Treiber ^^, wird sich aber irgendwann ändern.
 
Habe die Gigabyte Bretter fast immer mit @Bios geflasht - ist immer gut gegangen - und dank Dual Bios kann nicht viel passieren.

Freilich sollte man das besser nicht während eines Prime95 Lauf @ 5GHz flashen. ;)

Bekomme nächste Woche die neuen Trident X, bin mal gespannt wie die auf dem UD5 mit Ivy laufen?
Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht haben die DDR3 VTT von 1,4V, anstatt den 1,05V von den anderen Speichern.

Mit ein bisschen VCore Senkung benötigt der 3570K @ 4.5 GHz mit 1.236 VCore auf UD3H jetzt ca. 135W unter Prime95 960K.

Wenn man Intel böses unterstellen möchte könnte man behaupten mehr als 4.5 GHz ist nicht gewollt. ;)
