Thanks! And I used homemade red coolant made of:
1 g/L Benzotriazol (anticorrosion, all you need)
1 g/L Amaranth red dye (cas # 915-67-3)
Deionised Water
The coolant has been heat-tested at 100C for extended periods (>24 h), and in other Watercooled rig for >6 months, and it will not degrade.
I started using Aquacomputer red Double protect, but as a chemist soon found it both expensive and poorly formulated for non-Al loops (which most are these days).
Why have 1/3 ethylene glycol (which Aquacomputer Double Protect has) in your coolant which lowers specific heat capacity considerably when you dont need it...
And the homemade stuff is a lot cheaper.
No need for extra antialgae additive, copper parts leaches enough ions...
