MSI PT880 Neo-FISR - Benchmarks-Cinebench2000und2003
Cinebench 2000 ist ein Benchmark, der zur Performancemessung von Systemen für die Software Cinema 4D von Maxon entwickelt worden ist. 3D Modelling ist natürlich auf leistungsfähige CPUs angewiesen und so ist Cinema 4D auch SMP-fähig. Wir haben den Cinebench verwendet, da er auch plattformabhängige Unterschiede aufzeigt und somit auch die Nutzung des RAM-Interfaces mit einbezieht. Erstmals wurde er von uns in unserem [URL=http://www.hardwareluxx.de/cgi-bin/linkssql/jump.cgi?ID=2919]AMD760MPX-Roundup[/URL] mit Mainboards von ASUS, Tyan und MSI eingesetzt und wird auch in unseren Dual-CPU-Tests eingesetzt.
Einige typische Arbeitsvorgänge von Cinema 4D werden simuliert und über den Benchmark abgespult, dieser berechnet dann die Frames pro Sekunde.

Cinema 4D scheint dem Mainboard gar nicht zu schmecken - wir wiederholten diese Tests mehrmals, kamen aber immer wieder auf dasselbe schlechte Ergebnis. Die anderen Benchmarks sind ok - hier liegt das MSI PT880 wieder im oberen Drittel.
Ebenfalls in unserem Benchmark Portfolio haben wir den Nachfolger des traditionellen Cinebench, nämlich den Cinebench 2003. Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger sind einige neue Testverfahren hinzugekommen und überarbeitet worden. Die Basis, das 3D Modelling, ist aber weiterhin Hauptbestandteil dieses Benchmarks.

Auch hier liegt das Board wieder im Mittelfeld - außer in Cinema 4D, denn in diesem Test liegt es wieder auf den letzten Plätzen und trübt somit das ansonsten recht gute Ergebnis.
